This is how ridiculously saturated I'm able to run the flashi in tank mode with no leaks as long as I don't lay it on the side the air hole is on.

Hits awesome in dripper mode air screw out at ~5/32. May drill it out even more

Running full power on a stacked 18350 zmax.

Here's a shot of my rig.

tank wick with one hole open, still working on the best tank wick method. Since I don't have mesh..(disregard straw mod just something I tried out one day. Biggest stock air screw is 1/16, Need a metal tube)

Yep we're still waiting on supe to report back.. I'm sure he wants to put it through its paces really good before he comes out about it, since many people hinge on his words.

For one superX is a cotton master. He gets it better than probably 80-90% of vapers on cotton. So it will be very difficult to top his perfect cotton skills. He may play around with cc densities and methods before he makes a decision. I wouldn't be surprised if he waits a couple days to make sure he's figured it out. For a true comparison. . Plus with a bottom feeder you take away all the problems that people have with rba tanks.

.. 'Cause you know how many people say cotton is bad because they don't know how to work with it..

But if you have trouble with cotton rayon is much easier to master!!!

Stuff is the best wicking material I've had the pleasure to use.

I feel the same way! Over the years I've tried so many different wicking materials, including most recently the Koh Gen Do, which is good but just not as good as the CelluCotton in my opinion. Been vaping the CC for 2 days and nights now and wow .. I cant believe how fantastic each and every vape is with this rayon. So glad I saw this thread and got the CelluCotton, thank you Jeremy and all those who went before me.

Reminds me of the days of blue foam vs tea bags vs everything under the sun for wicking material for atomizer cartridges. I've been stalking my mailman waiting on a care package from a nice person in this thread who's sent me a couple of feet to try. Hopefully it'll get here in the next few days. Can't wait to give it a try. I've been underwhelmed with the results I've gotten from cotton although it's an improvement over silica.

I prefer cotton gauze to cotton balls, and never really did mind using it, as after a while I just could not vape off silica because the taste was so prevalent. Tencel top works amazingly well, but is a pain in the buns to wick with. This CC is the perfect in-between, I cannot believe how great it works. One of the side benefits I absolutely love is the fact that my coils are just as clean as they were the day I put the CC in them.

EDIT: Hah, was just thinking, I never could find those damn Pyramid tea bags. I still look for them just because I am not totally sure they even exist.

Hey stash, I'm originally from Houston by the way.

It's hilarious.. I'm vaping away no issues what so ever, then it's like I finally get a dry hint, what the heck.. Check it out - the tank is bone dry! Lol.

Yesterday I'm like what I'm not getting good vapor production.. Well battery just died on the next hit.

Funny you never make it that long with out some kind of issue with other wicks in rba tanks. .

Change flavors instant flavor change the wick holds no flavors.

That's hilarious. Did the same thing yesterday. Kind of a dry hit, squonk, dry again. "What the heck?" Look at the bottle on the Reo and bone dry!

ha ha ha Jeremy, those same 2 things happened to me last night too! One time it was because battery was one vape away from dying and I'd forgotten to change it sooner .. and the other time got a dry hit because I had forgotten to squonk after 6 or 7 hits. Gotta love it :)

I've changed all 4 of my Reo's to this rayon, all on a 1/16 28 gauge 8 wrap coil ... the best 2 days of vaping I have EVER had!

I've done the same with my three Reos - and it's so much better for chain vaping!

Do you guys know that cigarette filters are made from wood pulp cellulose?

From Wikipedia:
The raw material for the manufacture of cigarette filters is cellulose (obtained from wood).

Kind of surprised that someone hasn't thought of using this stuff years ago. Not that a cigarette filter is the same as a wick, but a cigarette filter is something you inhale through.

LOL Amanda .. I've gone through 2 times the amount of juice I normally do in the past 2 days and nights, just cant seem to stop vaping. I normally vape 8ml a day, but that has doubled the past 2 days LOL. Good thing I DIY :)

Back in the 1800's maybe, it's a poly now a days it clearly melts to plastic.

Rayon does Not melt it burns to ash just like cotton.

Yes....I have three Reos that hold 6ml, 3ml, 3ml. Before I found Rayon I was emptying them every day - ooops LOL I hear you on the DIY - it's been like Breaking Bad in my kitchen more than usual:D

I went down to 6mg once I started using Reos!

A commendation to you, Jeremy. You have performed admirably as scientific researcher and innovator. Your discovery was one that may have changed, in a significant measure, the advancing of our products in ways that we and their manufacturers had no way to gauge. You anticipated the appreciation that we all have had for your happy discovery, and we should all be extremely grateful for your tireless efforts in the growing acceptance of rayon as a wick. My figurative hat is off to you.

Well I've been playing with this stuff past week and personally I find that it doesn't really need to be as densely packed as many in this thread would suggest... for me anyway, I find that too densely packed and I can taste the wick, my happy place is probably ~ 1.5-2 times as much as I would use for cotton, ymmv but I agree with some of the latest postings, simply insure that after it's fully juiced up and broken in that it's not loose in the ends of the coils, as long as it's dense enough to not shrink down to where it's loose on the ends then it seems good to me, personally I don't agree that you can't use too much though, maybe at lower power levels? don't know, I'm usually vaping at higher power levels of at least between 20 and 30 watts or more

me too .. 1.5-2 times as thick as I use to do with cotton .. works great for me :)

It took someone to believe me before it took off. The earth is not flat didn't take on till more people beloved it and actually tried to reach the end only to find they ended up right back where they started. :)

Pretty soon I will put together a compilation the scientific related posts on rayon. Realize I'm smart but I could be wrong about something and have no problem if someone has a legit argument...;)
