I would just add that since I've been vaping it all day today at 8 watts, I've gone through about 5-6 ml, but still have 90% of a full charge on a 25R battery. Normally, I would've had to load a fresh battery a few hours ago. There's another advantage to using rayon for ya...or maybe it's just due to airflow on the Subtank.

If you count the fact that at 5yrs old my mother would let me light her cigs for her (to her detriment, because granmaw called one day and I answered the phone. When she asked what we were doing I replied " me and mom are smokin" You can imagine how that went over) I been smokin longer than I can remember clearly! A Cohiba, Montecristo, Romeo y Julieta or even a nice bowl or Borkum Riff?

Now that the warm weather is here and the back deck is starting to look inviting again, I do enjoy a reasonably priced cigar with a glass of Maker's Mark every once and a while.

I have had a few that were rolled on the thighs of their grandmothers, that no amount of cutting could fix...

I remember showing off to a kid who had moved in down the street from my grandparents. I was at his house, I picked up a pack of cigs, took one out and proceeded to do a pretty good job of imitating what I had seen my folks do thousands of times- I lit 'er up! I was barely 6 y/o and in the first grade. The kid was duly impressed and proceeded to bring my feat to the attention of his dad, who promptly snatched the smoke out of my mouth before he sent me packing. Later the kid told me he wasn't allowed to play w/me and I remember being ashamed of that. I don't remember being punished over this but I'm sure my parents would have been shocked if the father had told on me, and I would have had hell to pay.

I suppose there's a lesson there regarding what kids pick up on that parents aren't even aware of.

I do have a few cigars and I have thought about lighting one up now and then. But then I think back how sick I was, in the hospital, how I couldn't take a walk from one end of the house to the other without having to sit down to catch my breath, how close I came to living with copd for the rest of my life. I think about those days and the urge to light one up quickly goes away. I really miss a cigar, but I know lighting just one up could quickly take me back down that old road I never want to travel again. Beside's if I lite one of these old cigars they would probably ignite like flash paper, I doubt they are still any good, in fact I think I'll go throw them away right now and remove the temptation. Those days have to be over for me because I flew to close to the sun.

I still have two humidors full and well maintained, but I haven't fired one up in quite some time. When I first started vaping, I would usually have a cigar with my Bourbon, but now I prefer vaping with Bourbon. We've recently starting playing with single malt Scotch, And the smell of my cousins Maduro is proving to be irresistible when drinking Scotch!

edit: we use Rayon coasters for our Scotch on the Rocks...soaks up every drop of condensation!

I am all new to Genesis style atomizers and this one is quite interesting. I didn't realize it had two different sized holes for wicks till it was all built. Luckily I had it set up for the 4.5mm hole and was wondering what the little tab with the secondary holes was for just under the deck. I assume they are supports to keep your mesh wick straight. I imagine with a dual coil setup it will go through juice like it's free.

Thanks again for the tip on the wicking and yes I did see that the 510 threads are aluminum so I will have to be careful with it. I assume the aluminum deck is just a clone thing and the authentic is stainless steel.

Yes, that's right about the supports. You can use that side for rayon too, if you're doing skinny coils.
The OG has the aluminum base as well. The screw-in deck part is stainless steel. Still trying to figure out why they had to do that.
On the wicking, you'll have to watch how thin you make the long half. It's quite effective - if you do it too much, it'll overfeed your coil.

Well I am trying out your lopped tail in this 0.9Ω build of 26g on 2.4mm. I used one of the 3mm holes and cut off 1/2 of the Rayon tail just at the top of the tank window, letting the other half just touch the tank floor.

That is just crazy, for $170 to have aluminum 510 threads and a plastic tank that people can't seem to get unscrewed...
