As the title says, does anyone know of an rda that allows you to position the coil directly below the mouthpiece? I've got an IGO-L and it works but I feel that if the posts were both sitting along the outside ring so I could drip directly on the coil, it'd be a better setup. I've got a Russian 91% that I'm quite pleased with and it builds the way I'm looking for (coil centered below tip) but it's a tank. I like the shorter form factor of an rda and am a long-time dripper. Thanks!

I've looked at many RDA's, and haven't seen one as you described. I went with the IGO-W.
Maybe try building a coil with long enough leads to bend the coil over the posts so it sits directly below the drip tip? Might have enough room for a micro coil, but it would probably be pretty tight.
Also, I'm guessing the vape would be quite warm!

Phoenix clone?

I have one, and when I build a single coil, it goes kind of diagonal, with one side going in the front and one side going in the back....brb with a pic...

A7 is the closest dripper to a Kayfun type vape that I've found, even though it can be finiky. It draws air from the 510 connector, like a carto or a protank does, and it goes up directly underneath the coil, which is a straight shot to the drip tip. It has a generous drip well also, and you can get a A7noid drip tip to convert it into a spheroid inspired tank atomizer.

Yes, that's it. I like that it looks like it's got a small chamber, too. I'm very accustomed to dripping on plain old 510 atties, and I want an RDA that's closer to the vape they provide. Thanks for the heads-up.

I'm gonna try the R91 dripper conversion next time it's time to re-wick mine, which should be in a day or two. never thought of that before.

Me either, it's a really great idea. I like the fact that you'd end up with a dripper with a small chamber that is still an easy build. Brilliant!

The Immortalizer RDA. The airflow system is kinda goofy though.

It seems like it would be a pain to capture regular round kanthal though. I've been thinking about getting one for a while now, might need to just go ahead and buy one in the next month or so. I've heard that the flavor and the vapor caracteristics are the closest to a well setup Kayfun as a dripper can get. Well saturated vape, sounds delicious.

I get that and want an RDA with the airhole under the coil. I've been dripping on my R91 as Izan suggested above and it rocks!

Absolutely!
I like my eternity, but the vape is a bit cool compared to shorter designs.

What about permanent conversion of a cheaper KFL clone?
Then again, an IGO-L rocks if you get the wick and coil just above the air hole and have it drilled out a bit. Good waste of $10.:)
