Just a heads up: The READYxWICK is back in stock. Both sizes; all lengths.

How precipitous....I was reading this thread a while ago and I liked all the good things you all were saying about it...so I just got done ordering 2ft each of the 2mm and the 3mm! ( in case they run out quickly)

I'm a lazy oldbroad and, even tho it's very quick to pull out the gunked up or burned cotton, and replace with clean ones, using this stuff seems even easier...right up my lazy ole ally:laugh:

Glad to see people are seeing the light on XC!! :)
For reasons I have stated above I have been using nothing else since I started using XC last year. Once in while I'll try to convince myself to give cotton another try since I have a box of it in a drawer but just can't justify the daily hassle after using the XC. Yes, I'm lazy and like maintance free as possible. Plus the vape is very consistent. I'm looking forward to trying this and comparing the the XC I have been getting from SNG vapor. Theirs is only heat treated to 750 degrees.
So... welcome new XC vapers!!!! :)

750 degrees Celsius = 1292 Fahrenheit. Its all good. I suspect rba may have a better technique IDK. :)

I'm getting more of both to compare. I'm still milking the last piece I got from SnG.

Awesome stuff! :)

The XC was MADE for lazy!!! :) At first I got bored after I got it as I had nothing to "fiddle" with. Once I made a coil and xc and mounted it that was it.....done! Dry burns every other day. It's been a month and still going strong. I have gotton over my "fiddle" urges as lazy has taken over. :)

Blech I can't use that stuff. I use the Howard's feed and wax. Makes my wood smell if oranges :D

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I use the Howards on my poly finished woodies and use the tongue oil on my Koa woodie as it has the natural finish and Rob suggested I use the tonque oil and even sent me a small bottle.

Ok, I read through this entire thread ............seems that this may be good stuff, obviously better than silica. My questions:

1) When I first began with ProTank coils, I noticed strands of silica breaking off. Moved quickly to cotton. Any issue with this using the XC? Any health issues using this?
2) Seems that this takes awhile to fully saturate. Does it make a difference between a brand new piece/build compared to a dry burn/bottle refill? Is it 15-30 minutes of sqwonking (sp?) to soak the wick or is it more like an hour? Using a BCC...at least there the juice is pulled down via gravity to self-saturate. Using a Reo...one has to feed the juice, so how much time is committed to this?
3) Most are saying it's better than cotton. However, I haven't seen any comparisons to Bamboo which appeared to be a topic of interest some time ago and the direction I was planning on going upon receipt of my Reo+RM2.
