Interesting to see how this stuff compares to cotton re: taste/wicking capability...

I vape .5 -.6ohm coils and this stuff wicks like a champ. The best part about it is I don't have to worry about remembering to squonk every couple hits, with cotton I could burn it very easily with my coils then it would taste like crap, there is none of that with this. I would also say that the taste of my juice is better with this than with cotton. After a while the cotton starts to taste off, and the RxW seasons very well and it tastes good the moment you put it on unlike cotton.

I've got 6ft (3ft 3mm & 3ft 2mm) which I didnt think was that much but I've used half an inch the past couple weeks and it is still working like new... pretty sure I will be passing down my REO and this RxW as heirlooms to my great great great grand children.

My coils are basically touching, there is a small gap. I'm using a 3 wrap of Mundys Magic around the 3mm which measures 0.575ohm

Are your coils spread out or compressed?

When I wrap mine I leave tiny spaces. Since I wrap micros on the Wire Gizmo then thread my r-w through the installed coil it seems to work best that way for me. Other than the way we wrap coils I agree with everything SeaNap said about the r-w.

If you didn't receive an email then your order didn't go through. Unless you entered the wrong email address. The email should have come almost immediately after you placed the order.

I emailed them last night and when the CC charge that is pending comes off of "on hold" I'll try again. I guess the mailing address wasn't the same as what the CC had on file maybe an extra space or something like that I didn't notice. Lesson learned I'll cut and paste next time.

Hey guys, I'm thinking about giving the 2mm a try but I was wondering if it's okay to use this stuff in a Kanger Protank or a mini Protank II? I also have a Kayfun Lite Plus revision 2 that I can use it on and soon I will have a ERA.

Will the 2mm fit in the Kanger coil heads? There is only so much room in those heads. I have been using 1mm EkoWool in my Kanger stuff and yesterday was the first time that I have heard about XC-116 (from rba supplies).

What are the pros and cons with the 2mm xc-116?
Do they not make a 1mm because it would be too fragile?

My man FB says 2mm will screw right in to a micro coil. The key is to screw it in like a bolt through a nut. I've used 3mm ecko on a protank so I think the 2mm shouldn't be a problem. I usually build my coil right on the Artistic Wire Gizmo. Not sure about RBA's ceramic but the SNG 1mm has worked great for me but the RBA looks like it's much better.... I'll know soon.

I use the Gizmo also, and another hand held wrapping tool. I have a bunch of compressed coils already made up, so may try and tweak the coils apart just a tad, and try it. Should get my 2mm wick tomorrow.

After the overall positive reviews ordered and received my 2mm READYxWICK today. Recoiled (28gauge .8ohms on the Gizmo 1.5mm mandrel) a IGO S,RM2, Cyclone and a Hornet. Used 3/8" for each wick and threaded the wick into the coil. Like others have noted the wick ends don't rest on the deck. Primed the wicks and let soak about 15 minutes. These 4 Reos run the same juice all the time so I am very familiar with how they taste with cotton on the same ohm coils.

Initially, I taste many more notes of the juice I didn't with the cotton and the vape seems "cleaner" and maybe thicker IDK. I am able to take many more vapes in between squonks.

I am very impressed with it and look forward to not changing cotton wicks every day or when I forget to squonk.

I found this video informative, especially the part where Jeremy times the vapor production from the wick (Talk about a ultra hit!).

ReadyWick is my favorite wick - I use it in my Dripper Pros and Sophia. The Sophia is especially since nice since you only need about 3/8" of an inch of wick. Dry burn it and it's good to go! I have tried cotton but really not a fan - it starts to irritate my lungs if it gets at all gunked up or burnt. Not worth it.
