There's an old saying in retail business that goes something like this

Do 100 good things and you're lucky if 1 person hears about it
Do 1 wrong thing and you're lucky if only 100 people hear about it.
New customers are not already returning customers. They need to be made to want to return.

well its a good thing that only 1 out of 100 people are pretentious enough to make a stink out of this.
he had already received his order when if it wasn't for the note a thoughtful employee added to his
invoice none of this would be here.
its also lucky 99 out of 100 people would think, geez what a (insert derogatory remark here).
regards
mike

This thread is still going? One disgruntled customer who fails top realize that he asked for a sample "IF POSSIBLE". It was not possible because of $0.03, so he didnt get a free sample and now crying foul about it?

I've used MBV several times before, received a free sample on some orders, and no sample on others. They even customized a free sample for me a few times. MBV is among the best as far as customer service goes.

to the op, for $0.03 more you could have received a 15ml sample of juice, one you probably would have liked too, perhaps you should read the policy before submitting your order?

This thread needs to be closed already.

Maybe i'm at fault but i decided to place my first order for some Baker juice , i bought three to try and requested a small sample of Hawk Sauce but only if possible .

I got my order today and when i opened it i had my three bottles with a little note that said we only give a sample if your entire order is $15.00 or more , my total order before tax was three penny's shy so no sample.

For a first time orderer i was left with a bad taste in my mouth , yes i suppose $15.00 is required but three pennys shy , c,mon especially if your looking to make a good first impression .

I know many love them but you would think for a first time customer they could of taken three penny's out of the (give a penny take a penny cup) especially when attempting to win over a customer who plans on spending quite a bit once i find a juice supplier i like.

A big :nah: for first impressions since i was completely unaware that you even had to reach $15.00 , three stinkin penny's , nice job Baker.

Their juice is just horrible anyways. Just forget em' and find someone else. Check out Nicoticket if you haven't already, or Halo also has some good ejuice.

Halo is great if you need it to hit your throat like a freight train and don't care about whether they're willing to disclose their ingredients.

Although I personally hated or said "Meh" to several of the pricey fad brands. Five Pawns. Alice. Boba's Bounty made me brush and gargle, but helped me realize tobacco isn't for me. Haven't tried Nicoticket yet and keep thinking about it but have been told it's another one where unless you drip it you won't get much out of it, and I have no interest whatsoever in dripping. Still, CLS sounds tasty. Decisions, decisions...

I've been using NT since I started vaping seriously about 3 months ago. The flavors are just fine in a clearo, I personally use a mini PT2. I only started dripping last week, and I don't notice much difference in the flavors. Even in a regular clearo the flavors are fantastic, Clark will have my business for a long time to come.

Hmmm, I never heard that dripping is the only way to enjoy Nicoticket, although I basically strictly drip so that may be why I never looked into it. I do use their juice in clearos too and it is still really good. I would give it a shot, for the price you can't go wrong.

I get what you mean about Halo not disclosing their ingredients, but completely disagree about the throat hit thing....Maybe your nic content was just too high because I felt that their juice was very smooth.

I definitely notice a large difference in in the overall experience from the juice when sub-ohming on a dripper compared to something like an Aerotank. The flavor mostly remains the same, but the overall experience I get from Nicoticket while dripping/sub-ohming is out of this world. It is definitely still great in a clearo though, especially if that is what you are used to.

I'm allergic to a few chemicals in some artificial flavors. If I can't find out what's in it, I don't buy it. Halo was...less than cooperative on that score. They aren't alone. I realize it's a bit of a pain, but you'd think you were asking for the key to Ft. Knox from some vendors. :D

MBV was quite cooperative and patient, and it makes it easy for me to find something I can use. Which explains why, apart from the price, I use quite a bit of it and shake my head over stuff like "I didn't read the massive banner on the page so they suck and don't care about their customers". I know just how not true it is first hand. I use several other vendors as well, mostly smaller less known outfits who are willing to work with me. But tgey make it easy for me.

Although now that I think about it, the sample from Halo I was given by a friend might very well have made my throat burn because of an allergic reaction. Ugh, horrible.

I agree about Halo. I didn't like their juices at all. Everyone has different taste.

Nicoticket has awesome juices. You don't have to drip with them. I've been buying from them for a while and I don't drip. Maybe I should dog them because they've never threw in a free sample. No because I got what I paid for. I enjoy their juices and their customer service is great. Bryce's ejuices are good too. I've gotten 1 free sample from Bryce's juice way back. It was 4ml. Maybe I should bash him because of all the other times I didn't get free samples. No, because that would be silly. He didn't have to give any away. People just expect too much.

Just forget MBV and find something else. Lots of others give a sample out, usually its 5ml, but its free.

To those posters saying MBV lovers defend them no matter what. I disagree. I haven't even ordered from MBV in months. I used them when I first started and moved on later. I never had an issue and their juices did the job to keep me vaping. I found a few great flavors there that I now make myself. I buy from several vendors. I could care less either way. But, I see why MBV didn't give a free sample. It's called policy. Some people just expect more and more. I'm just happy if I get what I pay for. If a vendor wants to give me a sample then that's a bonus. If they don't then that's ok because I got what I paid for.

There's a lot of juice vendors I just don't like. I think their juices are just gross. But I won't bash them if they don't give a free sample nor would I agree with another person for the same reason. Others may love that juice. If I see a post about a vendor I don't like I won't post on it. Just because I don't like their juice shouldn't give me the right to bash them at every turn. If someone asks opinions i will give it. It's childish but you see MBV haters. They don't like their juices so they talk down about them every chance they get. Its really childish.

The truth is MBV gets a large volume of customers. It's not going to bankrupt them if you decide to go elsewhere. They give free bottles out all the time, if your total is $15 or above. Either spend 15 or move on.

Sorry to bring up a dead thread, but it came to mind today when I got my MBV order in the mail today. I totally discount coded myself out of a free sample by using an 11% discount code, whereas a 10% discount code would have still got me a sample. Felt pretty stupid saving my .30 and NOT getting a sample!

This was a very poor decision on Mt Bakers part. If that 3 cents ...... them off that much after the customer obviously wanted to try a new flavor, that they send a note saying your 3 cents short buddy so sorry, is like a slap in the face. As a professional they should have included a note that said " Hello sir thank you for your purchase. We normally only send free samples to orders over 15 dollars, but since you are very close to that cutoff point we would be happy to go ahead and send that sample to you because we would love to earn your continued business. Here are a few of our lower priced items that you can add to future orders to get that total up for the free sample on your next order. Thx again for your business! Tell your friends about us

This is how you take care of a situation like this and retain your business, get respect, repeat business etc... Take it from me as a pro car salesman. Never lose a customer over a few pennies.

I get the feeling that if the OP had gone over the $15 not knowing about the free sample, and gotten a free sample that he didn't like, he would probably be on here blasting MBV for the sample choice too!

I learned about the sample when I got my first order in the mail. I had no idea, great surprise and gained alot of respect. I never pick the flavor of my sample, I just let him decide. I have tried alot of good flavors that I never would have ordered otherwise by letting him choose!

I wish the banner at the top linked to their page explaining the fine print of it. I placed an order with a subtotal of 16.23 and I think shipping would have been about 3 bucks except I used a free shipping coupon so I only paid 16.23. I looked at their page explaining it after the fact and saw that when you use a coupon, you subtract the coupon value from your subtotal and when you do that, if that amount is less than 15, no sample. I was kind of bummed but oh well. I still planning on buying from them. I love their selection and I have orange dream waiting for me when I get home.

I had my vape gear stolen from my mailbox and i found out the supplier sent me a replacement anyway

Sounds like you need to re bottle some skunk cover scent in an ejuice bottle, box it up with the cheapest unprotected LiPo battery you can find and a fast charger, and a couple of cheap cartos, mail it to yourself, and then keep leaving it in the mailbox everyday until the thief comes around again.
