Great information here. Thank you all! I'm going to pick up a vivi nova next time I visit my local vaping shop.

I'm going to stay with the E-go Twist (even if it breaks I'll probably buy the same one - it works great). When I get a pay raise and a little more E-cig experience I'll consider getting the provari as an end-game device.

My first buy will be a DIY kit.

As for the recycling of vapor - I'm going to continue blowing smoke into my cups while drinking because it looks awesome, but I will not be pursuing a hardcore recycling method haha.

Again, thanks.

Side note: If anyone is looking for a great (and cheap) vape setup, I highly recommend what I'm using: E-go Twist (got one of each size), Low res 306 atomizer with a drip tip (they called it a "cannon" style), and I have a non-tapered "skirt" or "cone" (used for the thinner tanks) which helps catch any flooded juice. I'm going to try the vivi nova and a 510 low res bridgeless atomizer with a drip shield next chance I get.

Thanks! I'm going to give them a go. First time I've heard of them. I just ordered juice from ECBlend. Have you tried them, and if so, how do they compare?

I was going to get into DIY to save money but then I discovered mt baker vapor. 10$ for 50ml of good juice is cheap enough for me.

Hey spacenoob, welcome to the forum, and congrats on finding more economical ways to vape.
It's become part of my "vaping journey" too.
I have, however stopped short of re-vaping exhaled vapour, but I have found great savings
using the V3 Stardust type clearos.

Bought 2 units back in March or April, along with 3 spare 2.8ohm heads.
After dozens of dryburns and re-wickings with cotton the first head baffed
out on me last night after a re-wick. I was probably too rough with it.
The Provari showed it as OP and I couldn't bring the coil back.

Now I'm down to 2 spare replacement heads.

Been DIYing Vanilla Custard and Vanilla Cupcake(flavours from Capellas)

Have'nt bothered crunching the numbers, they'd be quite low for sure.

The Vivi heads/coils would likely last just as long as the SD's with proper care and cleaning.

Using only one SD at a time and one back-up in rotation sure is cheap but wouldn't be as easy to do
if I really liked a bunch of flavours. Good that the Vanillas "do it" for me, with a touch of banana or peach added on occasion.

Got re-wicking and leak fix tutorials in my blog if you're at all interested in stardusts or vivis.

Cheers:vapor::vapor:

I did that, but not in order to recycle the vapor, but to stealth vape comfortably on the plane. Exhaling through a straw in a plastic cup and then rebreathing it a couple of times until it was gone :)

The above suggestions make a lot of sense. If you gain more experience, or even if you don't, do look into Genesis style atomizers and/or hybrid PVs - they cos a little more to buy, but in the long run you literally vape for free, in terms of hardware. Couple that with DIY liquid, and your running costs should plummet.

I fist posted this on Macho APV but here it goes. It's time wasted when I was not felling good. The Cone on the top is for recycling vapor you exhale. LOL Hopefully the spit etc. would be filtered out. LOL

I DIY and purchase from Wizard Labs 50mls cost me $3.50, that being said $10 is also a good price, but it is easy and I make them just the way I like them!
