Whoa, I'm way behind here ....
The closer they get to being done, the more I will show them off. So far there is half destroyers and half cutlass mods in the batch. And yes, that one is cocobolo, hard to work a bit but pretty as heck
They all get a coat of carnuba wax before they leave the shop, it's a very hard wax but any wax product should work fine, expecially if it leaves a hard coat that has to be buffed off after it dries.
I'm trying to limit the body wood to less than a half a dozen types, while on the other hand getting more and more of a selection of exotics for the panels. I'm getting wood I've never bought before because of the price. Kinda fun.
On the back of the paperwork you get with the new generation mods is a serial number and the sale date. The number is also written discreetly under the electronics lid, cause I be sneaky! lol

I usually drink different varieties of Michigan made craft beers. A friend if mine wanted a red ale so I grabbed that and realized it was called red sky later after cracking it
As far as taste, it's one of the better reds I've drank. Going well with menthol in the RSM

That wood that you're speaking of sure looks like Cocobolo to me DD. I have a Cocobolo Destroyer and its a beautiful work of art!!

And here's what it looks like since it's been exposed to air/light/etc...it's darkened up to where the yellows and oranges have darkened and it's now predominately a deep mahogany red and black color:

Arrr, no porn from me tonight, perhaps tomorrow. Right now most of the ladies are trussed up in fashionable clamps with their glue drying. I was hoping to see more of the new Destroyers from last batch, ah well ...

Well, 9 mods went out last week, but many of them just disappear into the void and I never see them again ... kinda sad ..
When I get one in for a repair it's kinda like them stopping in to say hello again.
I hope mine didn't disappear into the void....it's just taking an extended tour of the west coast on it's way to a loving new home (& an owner who will force it to do porn from day 1....lol!)

It's starting to annoy me a little when people sees me vaping my RSM and goes, "Is that one of those that keeps you off smoking?" Because then I have to really explain and make it clear that I vape because I like it better, not because I'd be smoking otherwise.
And by the way, Vision Vivi Nova tank fits well in Destroyer so it can be added to the list. It's actually pretty nice. Juice filling is easier than anything. Screw open the top cap, fill the tank and screw it back on.
