Brad is still around but has a million problems with his Flair project and other personnal issues. Gepetto is still there as well, only he now has his own website and makes a small batch every now and then. The last one is Bullbox I think...well this one I don't know and...I don't care. Never really liked the attitude of that guy, ok boxes but an unpleasant habit to express a huge love for himself and despise other moders' work (well he's not alone to do that, I know at least one more :D)

Overall if you come to think about it, there are probably around 10 Wood box makers around the world and around 10 new manufacturers of tube mods.... a day :D

Good morning me 'earties!

Wow! That many? I feel like the little ol' mountain hermit, I should spend some time looking over the other makers I guess.

Ali'l, thats the other one I was trying to remember, I would have liked to see one of those. Except for the Grip, which I had a couple sent to me in hopes of repairing I have never seen another mod beyond my own. Unfortunately I could not repair them as it looked like I needed some special tool to remove the push button nut and I couldn't get them apart!

Flair project, don't tell me, metal mods?

arrr

Morning Capt' will any mods be hitting the RSM site soon?
or is it just Pre Orders for now..
Hope everyone's enjoying the weekend.

Ahoy ST!

Yes, some will. Here's a repost of a pic from a few days ago. I'm doing desk caddies this weekend as usual, but i should have the batch done mid-week I hope.

These are destined for the website;

Cutlass DNA20 X 2, Destroyer DNA20 (waho might want it), Marauder-HD, Cruiser-HD x 3 (HD=heavy duty - 8 amp) (The last Cruiser Walnut/Ebony is taken now)

Well, off I go, time to get sanding on the caddies..... have a great day, arrr.

Yep, those would have been mine and Hubby's GRIP mods that I sent you. Because of Brad's issues, I can't get in touch with him. These mods are just sitting around collecting dust. Of course, I paid a fortune for them, and I am not happy about it.

From left to right;

Quilted maple/Spalted sugar maple - Australian mahogany/Cocobolo

The Destroyer20 is solid Curly tiger maple

The Marauder is Curly tiger maple/Black Mesquite

The Cruisers are, African Mahogany/Curly Koa, African Mahogany/Shedua & Black walnut/Gabon ebony

Break over, fingers un-cramped, back to sanding ...! arrr

Very nice for me in October. thank you

I chose a Bocote / Ebony combination for my new cutlass20 with a Jolly Roger engraving ... it would be very nice

Here are the two latest examples of that engraving. Same one that I have on my own mod, arrrrr!

Uno mas para usted! Have to practice my Spanish somewhere right? :D

Love the heck out of this guy. The battery life still blows the destroyer out of the water for whatever reason with the same batteries and coils.

Perhaps the distance between the 510 connection and +/- posts of the atty are shorter on bottomfed rba's so less internal resistance the regulator compensates for?

Science!
