This whole looking thing is awful. Not because we can't find anything, but because my lady wants things that are way out of the price range.

I think she thinks if we keep looking at them I'll just relent and pay $50-60 grand more than I want to :p

Women, can't live with them or without them!

At least I really don't have that much stuff to move outside of some computers and flat screen tv's. She's got all the furniture. I think I'll have to work that day too..... :D

Wow Waho, you just perked me up! I just realized that at 55 I'm officially able to beg out of having to ever help anyone move, ever again! So there IS a bright light in the dark, har har!

I guess I can't ask y'all to help me move then eh? I'll provide beer and pizza...

She actually really likes this one. We're going to sleep on it and decide if we want to put an offer in tomorrow!

Pending an inspection we may be in before Christmas. At least we won't sweat moving stuff in the dead of a Michigan winter. Plus, imagine all the fun to be had in a uhaul with icy roads... :D

Do you happen to have a roofer, carpenter or someone who knows the little things to look for? It really sucks when just after you buy a house you find you can't get house insurance until you spend $3000 to upgrade the 50 year old wiring.

I've been a roofer, carpenter and an electronics tech in my life, but I've never been a general electrician. I knew it looked old but had no idea it was that old.... arrrggg...that wiped out me savings 4 years ago, even the hidden booty I had stashed under me chart box.

I've got the name of an inspector that realtors cringe when they hear his name and my ladies grandfather who knows quite a bit about things is coming to look at it.

Everything looks fine to me but I've got "young eyes" as my mom said. The house is only 2 years older than I am so I'm hoping nothing expensive is wrong with it.

i never really changed from my student days, when packing was 5 black bin liners and toss it all in.

The first night i was in here i had - computer, screen, airbed and duvet, coffee maker!

All my other gear was in a lock up. Suffice to say that in the intervening time my wife has managed to fill the rest of the building and the last bastion of the mess i have always liked to live in is my desk!

Good afternoon crew!

Been pretty busy lately again. Meeting my realtor tomorrow to put an offer in on a house. Hopefully they'll take it and I can start contemplating massive soul crushing debt.

Wish me luck!

Good luck!

Happy Monday and all, but it's almost done. Got a 1/2 day of work in today, not great but still better than I had thought I'd be able to do when my back went out a couple weeks ago. Yipee!

Have a good one! arrr

Shame to EU Commision - Proposal equal to a huge scandal. | atmoslab.com

That's amazing how politicians can always go for the worst possible solution.

Yeah, that is not looking good.

In the future, for those of us with the savvy to do so, we have our mods that can be maintained/repaired indefinitely if need be. I can always sell my mods for *other* purposes and not even promote them as e-cig devices and try to ship them where ever they are desired.

The wire for the rebuildable coils can be gotten most anywhere, hell you could even strip the sheath off some common wire, pull out the individual wires and use them if you wanted, wicking material is also easy to get.

Well made RBA's will last a long time, have a box full on hand in case they become illegal to ship (they could always be re-labeled for "herbal" or other usage too I guess. Could probably even manage some home-made RBA devices if the need was really pressing.

Nicotine in liquid form ... that's the roadblock that I see, how we gonna get that if the worlds political entities close the door on e-cigarettes in favor of maintaining their staggering income from tobacco tax's/cancer treatment and the like?

Not sure how this will all play out in years to come......

How long can you store nicotine in liquid form?

Hmmmm.......

The popular opinion is if put in Freezer Nicotine will store for 5 Years.
Should be in Glass Bottle. Doesn't actually Freeze just slows molecular decompostion.

I have a year and a half stored away just in case.

It won't be too difficult for us to carry on vaping. Hell you could just brew tobacco leaves if needed, and as Cappy mentioned, we have the mods and RBAs already, no one is going to take them away from us. The worst thing is it would send a very negative image to those who are still dependant on cigarettes and make them think that if such laws exist, that's just because Ecigs are just as dangerous as analogs (Medias are already doing a great job about that here in France, you just won't believe what they can come up with, I even heard that vaping was probably even more dangerous than smoking, best evidence was...it produces smoke!). I just can't believe how politicians could trade the health of millions for their personal interests.

Anyway, no pasaran! :D

But it looks like smoking, so it must me bad! Or, it makes smoke and doesn't look like a cigarette, so it must be drugs!

I was stealthily vaping at work yesterday and a lady came up and said "I thought I could smell smoke!"

Before I could even react my non-smoking/vaping friend lit her up. It was probably the best pro-vaping spiel I've ever heard, from a tobacco virgin no less.

That's what we need I think, more non-vapers who've actually been around a significant amount of vaping to point out it's not that bad. I've vaped in people's cars that won't let people smoke in them because they know it's not going to stink up their car (even with the windows up) or that nausea inducing dose of second hand smoke.
