The batch photos look great Cappy! I am going to try to get in on the next round of preorders for a Cruiser II. I know I said that last time but I spent the last few coins in the chest on a trip to Denver for old Jack's service so going to have to be next round. By the way I posted some photos in his memorial thread if there any here that were close to him would like to see them.

Looking forward to seeing your next batch already. Glad you are staying at the helm here Cappy.

The Macassar was my first choice but it was already gone so I went with a solid Granadillo Cruiser. And no worries on the switch Cappy, I had to ask though as the square switch is pretty slick. Looking forward to my second Cruiser...the first one recieved just this week hasn't left my hand since it arrived :D. I can't say enough how awesome this mod is.

Good morning all, I see that awesome weekend looming on the horizon, full speed ahead!

Pics are nice, batch #22 should be arriving at various places in Europe, with any luck we might see some buyer pics.

Got shop work to do today, got to get some caddies finished so they can ship tomorrow and some other misc stuff to do. Guess I better find time to do equipment maintenance too before the batch gets started.

I see that rebuildable atomizers are still popular, perhaps even gaining popularity as more and more people are finding an alternative to constantly replacing expensive atties/cartos. Wonder what the next evolution will look like.

Fads seem to come and go, I've noticed that at first people are in a total frenzy to get them, then over the months they start to die down until 6 months or so later that suppliers thread is joining mine in trying to stay off of page 3 on ECF, heh.

I try not to follow the fads too much and only change designs to incorporate things that have a long-term steady interest, but I must admit I don't browse the ECF threads often enough.

Anything really new and exciting in the way of accessories that I might have missed?

Have a good one, arrr

The new big fads seem to be making another tube mod with another genesis atty or new hybrid. Fortunately I dislike genesis and tubes so paying outrageous sums for some of the hard to get ones goes by without a care.

Small is all the rage though. Lots of folks digging 18350 mods so the height doesn't get out of hand. Box form factor solves that though, GGTS/Ithaka in 18350 mode is damn near the same height as a reo grand/cruiser ii. With better battery life to boot.

I think rba's will continue to popular. I haven't used anything but rebuildables in 6 months at least. After getting the knack they are a cheap/easy way to vary your resistance for your application. I wrap 2.3-2.5 ohm coils for VW/VV and 1-1.2 ohm for 3.7 volt with the same attys. It will be interesting to see where they go in the future with new designs and wick material. I already swap between silica, cotton and ekowool silica.

Ramble over. Good morning crew!

I forgot that feeling of anxiety when you have a mod in progress :p

I've been using hemp twine on both my A7 and bottom coil tanks and it's been working fabulously.

On A7 I can take only the wick out when it's time, dry burn the coil, and rewick and reuse the coil over and over. Hemp wick tends to swell when wet so I can make the wick thin enough to pass through the coil easily, then it'll swell and make contact with the coil automatically. So not only the hemp wicks better but made my whole rebuilding sessions so much easier.

Hemp you say, hmm.

I've been using A7's for what, 7 months now? Love those things.

After about 3 or 4 weeks though, the cinnamon/menthol juice I vape has been scorched by the coil so many times that the inside of the A7 is full of black looking juice and it starts to taste kinda nasty. I wash the whole thing out, dry it and put in a new coil and good to go for another month. Never had a coil pop yet.

Night all, got a doc appointment tomorrow, gotta hit the pit early, arrr!

Ahoy, good morning! This is the earliest I've been up this year I bet..(yawn)...

Mine get kinds gunky inside after a while as well. I normally get 2-3 weeks before I rebuild and clean. I absolutely love how it works on my Cutlass.

Yeah, nothing better to be sure. I have 3 of them built and ready to go, so I only end up rebuilding the set every 3 months or so, talk about the easy way to vape, lol.

I saw an RBA somewhere, a while back, that had 2 itty bitty springs mounted on it instead of screws to hold in the coil, I wish I could remember where I saw that. I'd like to try it and see if it brought yet another level of easy to installing a new coil.

Arrgg, must have more coffee...

Have a great Friday!

Good morning crew, happy Friday!

I'm actually missing my A7 right now, I bought the "surface" which is what the A7 is a clone of, but after getting used to the airy draw on the A7 this is a bit too tight for my liking. I've taken the drill to all of my side air hole atomizers after using the A7 so much :p

I've seen some genesis with spring connectors. One thing I really like about the A7 is it works great as a bottom feeder. And it has an adjustable center pin. I have seen some that have side holes so they don't work as well for feeding. Or no adjustable pin so it doesn't always mount right or connect on everything.

As for ease of build I have been just wrapping around the screw head lately. It is slightly easier then threading the holes but still gives a good solid connection.

Ahoy everyone!

It's been quite a long time since my last visit, I've been pretty busy trying hard not to do too much :D

I got myself a Cyclone a few days ago, it comes from the same guy responsible for the Era. Well, I loved the Era, but this is the same great vape, tons of vapor and flavor, with a better designed top cap. Plus it's easier to get, unlike the Chalice or the ERA. So if you guys are in need for a great RBA for your fleet, grab one asap, you won't regret it.

Have the very best week-end ever everyone :)

Ahoy! What a beautiful day outside, think I will find some outside work to do today and enjoy a bit of it. The usual afternoon rains are turning everything green and the grass is looking lush. I love summer!

Get out and enjoy it if you can.

Why the hell didn't I think of doing that? Sounds like an easy solution to the hardest part of rebuilding those things, thanks!
