I was telling a non-vaping friend about it this morning (we had discussed the term earlier) and I STILL can't say it with a straight face!!!

When that album 1st came out, my roommate had a little black kitten that had huge ears, and made a noise that sounded half-way between a squeak and a honk... so I had nicknamed it Squonk. The visuals that came to mind with your description, along with the sound effects in the head, were/are just too much for me to bear....
