SK, so how are you loving your RSM??? Mine be in the builders port and I'm about to bust with excitement. Now to find the best deal on the batts plus a few 18650 IMR for others I have. Gotta do one fell swoop with shipping.

Let me know what you find out, cuz I need a charger, too... It seems like not everyone carries the 18350's and so far MadVapes seem to have the best price.

I hate to say it, but I might have to wait until next month to be able to order mine... stuff happens... :(

But she sure is mighty purty to look at, and I love the feel of the wood in my hands... not to mention that the waiting is finally over!! th_1sm264pirate.gif (plus I took a better pic and have been showing off to all of my friends... ha!!)

I love the look of the one in front by the blade... is that the black and white ebony? looks choice  (hope it's alright by you that I posted in your thread there cap'n :) )

I picked up a Canon A2200 after doing some research, nice compact and didn't break the bank. My old camera was 12 years old and showed its age by the crappy resolution, yar....

As this seems the day for showing wood in the making, here is a pic of the upcoming batch. (They're sitting on my Porter Cable table saw in case your curious).

Left to right are Cocobolo, Padauk, African Black & White ebony, behind it Mediterranean Olive, Purplehearts, behind them Sycamore, then Asian Marble, Wenge and far right Koa.

As always, click on pic for blowup

Yarr, thats the B&W ebony. I would love to use more of that but the small piece I have that will make only a couple boxes was almost 50 bucks. I make the majority out of the less expensive wood to keep the price down, but recently started using some of the more exotic stuff I've stockpiled.

Thanks for stopping by, post anytime Brad :)

Arrr, I've said it in private, and I'll say it in public. You are the only wood worker I have seen on ECF yet that I will tip my hat to.

You got skills my friend. Yo ho!

Better pic???? Us swabbies not friends???????

After that crack that PI made about my other pics, I dunno... Ha!!

The little one in that 'other' contest is cool cuz it takes the same batts as the one I just got... in fact, if I ever ended up getting a mod I thought it would be something more like that... or actually one of those cheap little plastic box mods... LOL!!
But instead I end up with the top of the line, and one of the most beautiful ones out there!! thumb_love_pirate_ani.gif

Were you going to bid on this one? If not then I am going after it. I like a minimum of 6/4 to make solid bodies from.

BLACK & WHITE EBONY 14 x 1.6 x 1.6 ~ EXOTIC WOOD 7507 - eBay (item 360372845336 end time Jun-16-11 23:37:41 PDT)
I didn't see that one... only thing that sucks is cooks hit's you pretty hard for shipping. Got a piece of lignum vitae from there a few weeks ago to make a mod that was requested of it... they charged me $23 to ship it... 15"L x5"x5" wound up costing me $160
I wouldn't bid untill the last second, otherwise your just jacking up the cost ;)

Argg, 15 bucks is a bit steep for that stick, and yeah, I ninja bid when I bid at all. The only other piece of B&W of the size I need listed is 250 bucks, altho I could make a couple dozen from it I can't afford to drop that much for a single type atm, pity ...
