I was just admiring the pics for the thousandth time, and a question just occurred to me; Do you have to remove the bottle to change out the batteries? It doesn't really make much difference to me, and it looks to me like the answer is "yes", but you know how those "I wonder if..." things pop into your head sometimes.
No you can change them by moving it to the side. I usually take it out though.

Agree. On the Scallywag it's usually necessary to remove the bottle, but the Buccaneers have enough slack in the flex tube so its not necessary.

Back to work, making the LED endcaps for a few Mark-V's, so far so good! Yarrr

Slow & steady Cappy ;-)

Aye, sound advice. Perhaps I get in too much of a rush looking at the big picture, small things might suffer for it.

So far I've had two reported problems, so the error rate is nice and low, the bad thing is the SAME PERSON had the problems which totally and unquestionably sucks :(

Yarrr!!!

It looks like the LEDs will work swimmingly. The small wooden display meters I built the other day actually proved to be a better design than what I had intended to use, so I transferred that type of housing to the Buccaneers and it is looking great so far. Taking a day off to play with those little meters is paying off, heh

I might even have some production pics for you tomorrow :)

I think you are too hard on yourself and from what I've seen, do back flips to make people happy. How many months have you been modding???? Come on now! There is always going to be a learning curve.

I have no doubt you will make it right twice over to that person.

I suppose your right, but I don't want people to have to pay for that learning curve. Fortunately the changes I have had to make so far are pretty small. It would still be hard to tell a first generation mod from a current one except for catch cups and buttons etc.

Hmmm, maybe I need a check-list, after all I used them for years working for other people, might be the smart thing to do.

Ok, off I go to make some noise, router time!

Taz, I put a gallery of all the mods I have pics of on the home page of the website. Sadly I am missing some that I lost when my laptop crashed a while ago. If anyone doesn't see theirs on the slideshow and want it there, please send me a pic of your mod to Brian_w001@hotmail.com

http://www.redskymods.com/

I put a comment/suggestion box on the website a while ago, perhaps it was a mistake. To save some time, perhaps I can answer some questions before you feel a need to post them.

1. No, YOU suck!
2. The price is what the price is, if you don't like it, haggle with me. I'm not Walymart, I can negotiate.
3. I don't even think my mother knows you and you are probably not old enough to be my daddy.
4. Why would I give one to you free? What have you ever done for me?
5. No, I am not affiliated with the Tampa bay Buccaneers and no, I don't pay them royalties. (Davy Jones yes, TBB no).

Yo ho ho! I'm having a great day, lol

Looks great!! But there is a typo... Gallery of our children, most if them have found a loving owner Sorry to have to break it to you :(

And if I might suggest the word 'home' rather than 'owner'... since you never really own your children (or it also could imply child slavery... lol)

Now? Nahh, me normal working hours are about 1pm to 2am, then I watch a movie or something, sometimes work late, then off to bed about 4am.

After decades of working 2nd shift I can't seem to get my hours under control now, heh

Ok, so while I've still got you here, just a couple of quick questions... if you don't mind??

At the risk of sounding totally stupid, does the juice feeder part always have to be used, or can it be used as just a regular mod... like with a carto or something?

And since mine has the drip cup, does that mean that it can be used as both styles of feeding?

Thanks!!

If they have a catch cup, then yes they can be a Tilt or a upright feeder, the only difference is for upright feeding the feed bottle has a tube that runs to the bottom. Remove the 2" tube from the feed bottle and you have a tilt & shoot model :)

You don't have to use the feeder I suppose, and any atomizer that fits on the end with or without an adapter will work. It's just that some wont screw on without an adapter.

Gosh, I've been vaping for 10 months now, and hanging out on the ECF, but there's STILL so much to learn!!

10 months, thats awesome, congrats! I quit on my birthday, nov 2 last year so coming up on 8 months! It's a pity with all this hardware around me that I have been unable to get the ol' ball and chain to quit smoking.
