Just a note, all repairs/modifications are complete and have been shipped. This brings up a sore spot with me

1. I don't care how many mods you own, you cannot use my RSM as a handy hammer and expect me to sand out the dents

2. Even a complete noob should know not to use a cigarette lighter on a mod, I will no longer repair charred wood

3. If you are out and about and the battery goes dead, carry spares. Car batteries and Jumper cables are NOT an option

LOL I can't believe someone would do that.On second thought yes I would. You should see some of the people I deal with.LOL

Good stuff Capn'!
On a serious note, though; If you're using the magnet spacers for your batteries, KEEP THEM AWAY FROM THE DOOR CLOSURE MAGNETS IN THE MOD'S BODY!! I spent a half hour last night with a pair of small needle nose pliers and a pair of tweezers, trying to get that little bugger out of there without marking up the wood!

Wow, I must have sneezed when I put the hole in, usually they aren't that deep, or course anymore I quite eyeballing the hole depth and have a preset bit for 'em  ssooorrrryyyyy.... I mean, wow, you have the special one with the micro-storage area built into it :)

Oh yeah, two more magnets might have done the job, it would probably have gone to the bigger attractor, 2 vs 1 so to speak

It's really not that deep a recess, but it's just deep enough that I had a hard time getting anything wedged in between the magnets. Add to that my paranoia over marking up the beautiful mod, the small size of the magnets, my old eyes, and a double (OK, maybe a triple, it was Friday night and I wasn't driving anywhere.) bourbon...
If I did it right now, and had good light and a magnifying glass, it would probably only take two or three minutes.

(edit: nvm Laz)

Laz, tybin, have a question for you both. Do you want the small CC, or the larger CC? Some people have wished for a bigger one so I also have that choice available now too. I have Pushbutton/CC sets for both sizes, in shiny Nickel or Gloss black.
