Cappy, you might have just hit one something with your comedy of errors. Looks mighty sweet to me. Reminds me of the old marble topped wash stands. She is a beautiful vessel!

Ahoy, good morning, good afternoon and good day to all!

Got a couple pics for ya, I didn't post a final pic of Laz's Mark-VI(6) Wench prototype so here they are;

...and this one below I'm going to use in the shop I think, it was a comedy of errors but I finished it anyway so I would have a Mark-V for myself.

After I assembled the end caps on it and started sanding I realized that the wood suppliers writing on the end of the wood had bled into the wood and was still visible a bit at the very top, oops. On further inspection I realized I had drilled the atomizer hole on the front instead of the back, oops! So I set it aside. (I almost tossed it in the trash).

A day later I picked it up again and thought if I clad the top in Recon-Stone I could cover the old hole and bore one in on the back where it belonged. To balance it out I decided to put a stone inlay along the side too. Well, it was late and instead of putting a channel in just the back door I forgot to remove the door first and put a channel in the whole side! Argg, now instead of a two piece inlay I had to fit a 4 piece inlay. It was late, I put it aside again.

The next night I installed all the inlay, put the Recon-stone on the top, drilled it, sanded it and noticed it now had a crack in the door! Crap! It looked like a small check had split during sanding. Well, I stabilized it with some glue and finally finished it up late last night. Here she is, for better or worse, my new Sycamore lady.

Available now!

I think I am going to go ahead and offer #504 for sale, I have two perfectly good RSM's, I don't really need a third. Besides, If I do, I will just make one :D

#504 - $169 - Rounded Granadillo body with Beveled Honduran mahogany end caps, VV+LED, Gloss black SS Button & Catch Cup.

One reason I was going to keep it is the LED has a white face instead of black, I've not seen one before. Factory error?

Yo ho!

These beauts are in the making. PM Cappy to claim your fine vaping vessel.

Yarrr, a couple requests for pics of the next few. I don't know why people like to see pics of the ladies before they have their makeup on, but here is 507-511 for yer viewing pleasure. They just had their first coat of sealer done.

I will post all the info about them later when they are complete, but off the top of my head they are Padauk, Wenge, Bocote, Chakte Viga and another Padauk.

P.S., the magnets hold the doors like that so the finish doesn't stick, it's not really magic. Trust me ;)

Ah yeah, I didn't think of that, marble toilet, wash stand with matching soap dish, so vaping on it kinda reminds me of drinking from the toilet?

Works pretty good too, the little defects don't alter that at least. Granted I work with an imperfect medium and can't produce a perfect mod, but I can try to come close as I can.

I think I've watched this about 50 times by now...

Which one is your personal favorite?

I still can't pick just one out of Ebony, Marblewood, and Ziricote
It was marblewood in the beginning then the more I watch the more I like Ziricote.
But then Ebony one has just remarkable grain pattern.

What would you choose? :confused::confused::confused:

Huh, all the mods are shipped, the 5 new ones are drying from their second coat of pre assembly finish, I don't really need to order parts at the moment, all the equipment is clean and running fine..... Cappy got nothing to do!

Guess I could get some wood ready for the next batch, yeah, thats the ticket :headbang:

Cappy what woods do you have?

Oh wow, how to answer that. I regularly make small orders of various woods, enough to build 4,6 or 8 bodies usually. I also typically order Knife scale blanks for end cap materials as I can get such a nice variation of exotic woods that way, so again, I make one or two mods and I used that up too.

The wood types I have on hand are constantly changing so I can keep offering new and interesting wood combinations, but this is what makes being able to offer pre-orders hard, I never have a large supply of any one type of wood on hand.

Right now I have 14 main body woods available for use and 30 types available for end caps.

Would you like to see a current list?

Hey Cappy, should I be expectin' a invoice this week?

I have the last 5 of this batch to finish, then I will start the next batch with yours included in it. I would guesstimate that It will be ready for payment/shipping in about ... hmmm...a week? You caught me with your order just after starting this batch so that added a week onto your wait time :(
