It seems my 3 day hold turned into 4, but I think I can get back to work on batch 6 tomorrow evening. Not only setting up new equipment but had to do maintenance on others as well. I used to do preventative maintenance each weekend but it seems I've run straight for a few months without down time and the equipment is suffering for it.

Router table
3 routers
Drill Press
Band saw
2 Table saws
Belt Sander
Plunge Sander
Miter Saw
and now add a CNC machine

Good grief, I am;

Maintenance chief
Shipping clerk
Parts procurement
R & D engineer
Technical writer
Cad programmer
CNC programmer
CNC Operator
Electronics assembly
Touch up
Quality assurance
Rework
Troubleshooting tech
Public Relations

and I may have missed some

Now hiring for any of the above listed positions. I can afford to pay you in cookies, cakes, pies or other assorted treats!

Line up at the door please :D

Arrrrrr,Maybe the capt' be turnin out a bunch a those RSM caddies Arrrr

I don't think so,just the power of suggestion

Arrr

I did make a few more while testing the system. I see some others for sale around 30 to 50 and up, but I was thinking in the line of 15 or 20 bucks, seem reasonable? Also going to cost 5 more for shipping, so 25 bucks seems at the high end for just a caddy.

whatcha think?

I agree, In fact I will give everyone on the list for batch 6 a free caddy for having to wait an extra week while I get myself sorted out.

No special requests tho, no time for that yet.

When I get some spare time (yeah right), I will make some caddies and get them up on the website and let people know they are there. Nothing special but a nice box to hold your RSM stuff in. What did we agree on, 20 bucks? I will use more common wood of course, can't afford to throw away a big chunk of ziricote for a caddy for a twenty spot! Arrrrr

Oh yes, I also wanted to TRY to make some of the small wood voltage displays for sale, but again, when time permits.

20 sounds good to me. You should consider making some to fit multple rsm's. I have the 5.1 now another vv on th way, not sure which model it is tho, its a feeder with no voltage display and a button I've never seen on an rsm before. Then another 5.1 in the works...

So I may need one to hold three rsms. Lol

Oh yea, another little thing came to mind again. I will be able to start to convert line art/vector art into programs for the CNC machine and start engraving boxes. What was Tom charging for that before he stopped doing it? It's a fairly involved process but I would like to offer if for those people who 'just gotta' have it.

Hope it doesn't take up TOO much time, arrr

It was included in his price... I'm not sure if he took money off if you didn't want it tho..
