I took a bit of time and added the Mark-6 to the main page of the website, looks like I am officially adding the "Wench" the the RSM fleet.

Seems that now with the ability of the Cutlass to run in 3.7v mode that the buccaneer model is rather superfluous so I will be dropping it from the lineup leaving just the Mark-5 and the Mark-6.

YaY, the FABULOUS Wench has made the big time. :thumb: :2cool:
Oh crap, I was so busy today I didn't send the pics of our (your) challenge. That said, they will come again to muddle your brain Cappy. Arrrrrggggg, sorry bout that. :) I'm like a tetse fly that you can't kill.  (as I walk the plank for the umpteenth time. :) )

I had a couple questions about the prices on the website. I give and have always given ECF shipmates a discount on everything I make, the website doesn't have that discount.

Mark-5 cutlass is $179
Mark-6 wench is $139? $135? something like that ...

I've resisted raising the prices for some time now and until other costs force my hand they will stay the same. As always, I pass on the added cost of very expensive wood to the buyer so I can leave the base price alone for those who wish less expensive wood.

Oh yeah, to answer another question, the price difference between them is simply the cost of hardware and all the labor involved in making a double ended bottom cap with display and switches mounted inside. The time involved in constructing those is serious.

Nope, the Mark-5.1 is still the dual mode cutlass, the Mark-6 is the VV model without a feed system or CC made for tanks/dripping. Red Sky Mods - Home

The second from the left is a very close grained piece of ziricote with gabon ebony end caps.

ack, it's still tacky, gonna have to rub out me fingerprint and add more finish, lol

(Once this coat is dry, they get one final sanding then I start the final coats of finish)

Oing... it looks Stunning. Perfect position. Thanks so much for the excellent job!

some lines are little rough, I can see there was a bit of bouncing while engraving .

but that makes my spider even creepier!.

Thanks again. :)

I didn't notice that before, I just let the program interpret the drawing and convert it to code. The RSM right below it is nice and smooth. I'll have to look into why that happened, something about converting the image to a vector map I would suspect, maybe I need to include more pixels? Hmmm

It definitely is creepy, I was thinking of putting it on one side of my own RSM with the Skull & logo on the other side.
