Take ur time, think about it... look at all the woods I have to offer and pick ur hearts desire... look at all the options of batteries and sizes, tell me and I shall try my utmost to make it. Woods, inlay, voltage display, usb port.. I will make a box just to fit the bill, surely I will!

I ordered some of this, pique ur interest for inlay?

Way to go Drott!

Plunder the Cappy for all he's got!

I know you love the wood! LOL!

Make sure he puts the LCD screen, Wi-Fi, & microprocessor in that little baby!

AG I don't don,t know what all that stuff is.Maybe I should pick the wood and let you tell Brian what to put in it.lol When it comes to vv I'm clueless.

If you wish, this next batch I am making will have some more VV mods in it, and a few of them are going to be 'specials', you may pick one of them if it is your desire? You're call, theres no time limit on this :)

OK...maybe I went a little overboard, but a built in voltage meter is definitely handy.
My Provari allows me to see the voltage.
Even though exact voltage may not be necessary to achieve a good vape, it is nice to have.
I know Cappy has some improvements he's making to certain functions of the next generation.
You probably want those too.
The inlays he posted look cool...maybe something pretty for the lady!

Morrning.Well I been putting some thought in to this.So I need a meter.Hide it on the inside.I don't want some plastic led glaring at me all the time.lol Just want to see and feel the wood.

Then I could just include a screw on meter for those times you wish to check the voltage, hiding it inside would probably make it unusable as I can't think of any configuration to make that possible. I wonder if I could mount it inside the bottom end cap so you could just turn it over to check the voltage, and it would be hidden at all other times....hmmm

OK just call me boring.Black walnut body,Black walnut end caps,Guyana rosewood
inlay of course a D inlay would be good.lol. Brian work your magic.I know it will be a supper piece of beautiful art.

Okey doke, will happily start putting together the pieces of the puzzle for you, stay tuned :)

While not an essential component of a variable voltage PV, a built-in digital meter is VERY handy.

Only one of my various VV plastic-box mods has a built-in meter: my Big Splash by Shan Burkholder. And yes, she put the meter on the bottom face of the box, which is a perfectly logical and convenient location for one. Hers is also wired separately from the firing button, so that the meter doesn't turn on during vaping, but instead has its own momentary switch. Not a necessity, but a nice touch. (Not meant to suggest that you should do so, since the thickness of the wood end caps makes that extra small switch impractical. Wiring the meter to the firing button would be more than good enough.)

For the rest of my VV boxes, I have the Madvapes meter in the white plastic case with 510 connectors on both ends, male on one and female on the other. Works fine on most linear regulators (though not on some switching regulators or mosfet boards). Still, it's something of a PITA to use, since the atty/carto has to be unscrewed and the meter screwed on to accurately set the voltage. Not very efficient and somewhat less than elegant.

Once again, Brian, your decision to try to accommodate Drottwiler's request demonstrates sincere responsiveness to your customer base. (Jeez, am I blowing smoke here or what? Maybe a little, but mostly it's just telling the truth...) This flexibility is just one more reason all the shipmates here expect you to achieve success and (we hope) financial independence in these dark times.

Hey...he said he would build ANYTHING...
I thought he was up for a challenge...
Just sayin....

She said she wood like to see and feel wood, not a glaring digital readout, I think the bottom would fill the bill.

I have to agree with AG tho, wouldn't you like something a bit more exotic? If you like Black Walnut, how about Wenge? Very Black in color, course grain that you could feel while holding it. Maybe Guyana Rosewood endcaps and an Inlay in the Jade Stone in your design? I think I have the tools to cut it in that shape, all I can do is try.

Heh, I'm getting off pretty easy so far I must admit :D
