Whew...
The Super Glue mission was quite sucessful. The cracks between the body and endcap were so narrow so I tried to use syringe to get into them, but it didn't really work well so I just dripped glue as middle to the crack as possible then quickly wiped the remains. At one point I spilled a whole drop of the glue on endcap, and although I wiped it out right away it left a little bit of shiny part on the endcap(right pic) which doesn't come off but hardly noticable anyways. That's probably the only difference from pre-accident, so I'm happy again.

That looks good Chet. If ya want to get the excess off you can use an exacto knife. Once you do that lather it up with Howard's feed and wax and let it set overnight. Then wipe it down in the morning.
