I got to show off one of my mods to some cops yesterday. I accidentally set off the alarm at a customer's house. (I forgot they had changed the code.) So, when the cops showed up, I was standing on the front porch waiting for them...vaping away. Since I don't currently utilize my "choir boy" good looks with the pony tail & goatee...they put me through the third degree. After about 20 minutes of answering their questions, one of them asks me what "that thing" is. I tell him it's a personal vaporizer that I use in place of smoking. I took a huge pull & blew a Malty Toffee cloud right at him. He cringed, thinking it was going to smell like smoke or something, and then relaxed & told me it smelled like chewing gum. And that was it. They were even nice enough not to charge me for the false alarm I had caused.
It's funny, as involved with the phenomenon of vaping as we are, that there are people out there every day like cops who don't know about it. I wonder how long it will be before it is so common that you will be able to buy a pack of disposable E-Cigs in a vending machine?

Got the last 4 VV built and tested, need a bit of touch up sanding, finish and then ready to go.
Another two of them are mostly built, but waiting for catch cups. I hope to get a shipping notice from Digikey tomorrow, those buggers are holding me up!
Every supplier of the LED board I want is out of stock, I ordered some from China, but probably won't get them for a month or two as usual so I have to proceed without them. Considering the delay, I ordered a dozen inexpensive multimeters that will probably be handy for those of you who don't own one. Not only for checking the voltage of the VV mods, but for checking the resistance of attys and the continuity of attys you suspect are dead. I'll put them up on the website when they come in. Lots of stuff on order, I will start making new bodies soon in preparation of all that stuff coming in, fun times!

Got my Mk4VV today...that was fast...lol.
Wow...im impressed...it looks soo much nicer in person. the wood combination...to me..looks 1970's vintage....i like it alot
I works great with my 16340's...with magnetic spacers. The button feels more spongy than clicky. The wood feels soo smooth.
I will most definitely do a video review in a few days or so

Awesome! Glad you like that one, it is one of my favorite combinations because of the contrast. More of that last batch should be arriving in ports today, hope you all like em!
