Avast, I thank ye for yer kind words, but I be feeling cheated. Tis true!

You all get to browse and wonder, peek and prod, scoff and praise, tis not fair!

Hows it gonna look if *I* go shopping for a pretty bauble? "Hey, aint that the pirate box maker guy? He's buyin one of MY mods, har har har .... quick, tell the whole world!"

Oh yeah, that will sit like a cannon ball fer breakfast ..... isn't fair says I ...

Price be under 200 dollars? I hope?

I don't think I am ready to venture into the realm of LED's at this time, lots more work and would jack up the price too much. The one that is posted is a special mod for a prize winner.

If you have your heart set on a LED I would suggest heading over to the Monkeyboxx thread and order one up. He looks like a man who takes pride in his work too and just doesnt crank out clone after clone to fill his pockets. Just sayin ...

P.S., does the Grip VV come with a LED? I don't know much about his work except it is good work from what I've seen, the guy has very nice woodworking skills IMHO, he can actually do flush angles!

Good to know. Sorry to steer him wrong. Is that the standard width or custom? (The one just shown on the pic)

Off the top of my head, its about 1" to 1.05", usually no more than that, the Mark-III is about .9" width. Enough for .15" of walls on both sides and the width of the battery. I like to make these as tight as I can which is why I have a problem adding something as big as a LED, lol

Oh, I also rolled over the edges more than usual, not round but very rounded on all edging, even the top edges. I should start offering various edging again, round, semi-round, octagon, no reason I couldnt.

No, I do some woodworking myself, and I like that you obviously try to bookmatch your panels, pieces are flushed and not obviously proud or shy and you take the time to hand cut inlay with different patterns. I will wait for your next bunch to come along, but thanks for the suggestions.
