Cap. That look's good with the read out on the bottom. I wanted to keep you up dated, I have the stain applied and will be attempting a gloss finish today, 3 coats and the it will sit till dry. Once dry I will be putting the gut's in

What kind of stain did you use? I'm still in the sanding phase,lol
old english.... I wanted it to look like my gun stock on one of my rifle's , when I looked at gun stock stain it was lighter then my rifle. I am very happy with the color it came out to. I did two coats to make it a little darker.
I had it uniform smooth and sanded but the color I chose look's like old wood remind's me or wood in earlier home's so I re sanded it and put imperfection's in it. I also made the atomizer connection bigger and the hole for the pot I fixed that. I like it I think it came out good for what it is gonna be used for .. what is this contest all about ?
