Down the rabbit hole..
Hey Brian and Everyone!
I wonder how Box elder or Guyana rosewood would look with the white ash? I really like the Box elder, hmmm.
So many planks, hard to choose, sometimes you just have to go with your gut feeling and take the plunge :)

I think either wood look great, I love the box elder but
neither choice offered in DIY kits so I finally decided and ordered a Mark V vv kit black cherry with sycamore ends-I know it wont look as good as my one Brian made
but hey I'll have fun trying.

Hope Brians ready for all my "stupid question" pm's,lol!

Sorry, but I could only offer exotic wood that did not have overly toxic dust to deal with. I take lots of precautions when I work it here but please use a dust mask.

The VV board will be assembled and I will label the wires attached so the builder knows where they go.

You can put fingernail stickers, paint, slip decals, glue on whatever you want, use glittery paint ... anything you think might be pretty probably will be :)

cstar-I love your avatar!!

Thanks, I like yours too! (The necklace is a nice touch, lol).
Yeah, I forgot when I was looking the DIY kits have different offerings then the regular mods. It should look pretty
cool with black cherry and sycamore. You will have made your own vv! I know when I get ready I'll have a lot of questions too, hope not to drive him crazy, right? lol. Have fun and good luck... I mean that in a good way :)

did you ever get my PM, Brian? One of the moderators said its ok to momentarily close a thread and open a new one. Once the sale is over you can re-open the other one.

Aye aye, I will take care of that now then. Been working doubletime getting a couple broke machines back up and running. One down, one to go, it's putting me a day behind me schedule, yarrrr ..I hates that..

:D

Well, you can't get too far behind schedule, so there's no time to rest, lol!

Arr, your so sweet, thinking of me financial welfare, I be touched ..

Fortunately it won't affect the kits, bunches of them are already made, just going to delay my next premade batch ...pity ..

Happy Sunday! I hope everyone is finding time to do a 'Mom' thing today :)

Some ideas;
Take her to church
Take her to dinner
Give her a call
Give her a hug
Buy her a PV
Buy her some flowers
Take her shopping
Clean her garage
Cook her dinner
Mow her lawn
Clean her house
Wash her car
Buy her a card

Arrrrr...

My mom flew to Ohio to be with her mom! So, here I am in Texas, missing MY mom. hahaha Honestly, my mom is my best friend in the whole entire world & she knows it. I put my princess crown necklace from Zales, on her neck before she got on the plane. That way i'd be with her on her trip back to our home state.
I'm so thankful for my son & my husband. After a long day at work when all I wanted to do was cry, I came home to a dozen mixed red & pink roses & a card from my husband, & my son made me a beautiful ring holder at school.

Happy mothers day to all the mamas!!

Back online finally, scary, I missed you guys/gals!

Cap'n, how would mahogany body and sycamore end caps look together? I'm thinking the vv kit here.

It would look pretty, the deep red/brown of mahogany and the light brown with leopard pattern of the sycamore would give it a down to earth look.
