The glue I use is strong but brittle, apply sideways torque hard enough and the switch/battery tabs should pop loose. If the switch or battery tabs ever come loose, just a dab of super-glue should do the trick or a bit of epoxy.

:)
GREAT! thanks, bucko!

I do my best and altho I try to make it flawless there are always little things to do better.

Now my Dad, HE could work wood and was a true artisan. The title 'Master' is thrown around here pretty carelessly, I consider myself a strong journeyman wood worker, but pop was a true master .. he knew everything there was to know and crafted for a living for decades. Yup, he was an artist and was flawless when he tried.

GREAT! thanks, bucko!

Don't forget you also have that 6 month warranty, so if your gonna wear out the switch, do it before then, lol

I like to keep my opinion shut on most people's modding skill's and wood working skill's , Not cause I am any better or there's is to good or bad, but everyone is entitled to think how ever highly of themself's lol.

I can't count how many mod's I have gotten and had to re-solider everything or make wire's cleaner make connection's tighter etc. DIY all on the maker love it. There's nothing worse then paying 100+ and haveing do do work under the cover

I know more exotic wood's coast more and your more for the better price's but have you thoght about option's like that ?

I'm not sure which exotics you mean, but cost is a factor of course. At the moment I have about 30 exotics available and 10 I would consider non-exotic. I list most of the woods I have on the website, but not all. Some like the amazon rosewood, asian marble/ebony and such I have in small amounts and will use for making premades when the feeling hits me.

Things like stabilized burl and whatnot I think I will leave to those other guys, it's too man-made for my taste. Why not just use acrylic? It's easy to work and comes in fantastic colors, heck, you can even make your own. Nah, not for me.

Speaking of stabilizing, I got some new wood in and it needs TLC..back later

Heh, well, IPC-610 standards are probably not posted on many shops walls and I doubt most use a wrist-strap when they mount their IC's, but .... well, what can I say..hope people are happy with my work...but as always, Could be better!

Later, gotta work now because I'm 'Way behind'! ;D

Nice choice for the Avatar Capt'n. Have we seen that one before?

No, I don't think I've used this one before. I'm sure I would have remembered :)

Btw, here is a quick pic of part of the next batch, I know its been a couple weeks almost but the DIY kits held me up quite a bit. Most of them will be 5v or VV buccaneer variants.

Whew, end of another busy day, arrrr...

They just got the initial coat of finish, just got done with fine sanding. Next is hardware then a few more coats of finish and out the door!

I know they Could be better, but I'm Way behind, so I just slapped them together from old parts laying around, a few nails I found in the desk and a touch of elmers glue left over from the kids school days.

Yo Ho !
