I'm sorry FlyingV for jumping ship without saying a word - not enough hours in the day some days.

I have a question for everyone.......

I recently adopted one of Brian's VV children and when I did, I sailed right over to madvapes for the accessories I thought I'd need. Well in my ignorance, I thought since I have a million kr808 cartos and don't want to waste 'em, I'll grab the 510/808 adapter. As you guys probably already know - it won't work. So, my question is this, where is a good place to buy 510 cartos (besides madvapes)? I'm not really an atty kinda girl - just never had any luck keeping them alive.

Oh, I did grab some clearomizers and proceeded to burn the coil in 6 draws - bummed about that grrr. I guess , with my history of killin', I am a atty/carto murdurin' pirate.

ardenthope, i've been on a carto search, too -- Ikenvape makes great carto's, but they're closed until the 18th. Crystal Clear Vaping has a great 15 for $20 everyday deal on Boge carto's but they're temporarily out of stock...grrr. Haven't tried the ones from mypvshop or hoosierecigsupply yet, but they're both good vendors.

OK heres a tip. It is noted in the review im working on too. You can use a adapter BUT you will need to make some changes

If you can operate a drill you can make a quick fix to allow cartos. Take your adapter and drill out the hole a TINY bit bigger. you can test it with s spare piece of tube i you got one. Once you ever so slightly enlarge the hole the adapter is great and also lets the feed system still function.

FYI ikenvape 510 cartos will not work very well. THe feed tube almost completely closes off air flow. Fairly sure this is why Brian is no longer putting the feed tubes up into the connectors in newer models.

I have drilled a 510-801 a 510-510 and a 510 to 901/808. All work good and let me bottom feed the cartos.

Cappy, a quick check in before I'm gone all day. Bumping is no prob and very needed to get the exposure. A group shot here and there wouldn't hurt either<hint>.

I don't know what to say about reviews. It is a crying shame though as you have let these go so reasonably. Vid reviewers, PBusardo, Basilray are two that come to mine. GrimmGreen but some don't care for him.

You might consider making your own forum. Easier for newbs to find and to bump ;-) Not sure your there yet.

I must have a different adapter - the one I have has a sliding center and it bottoms out on either the carto or the battery connector - depending on which one you screw the adapter on first.

Odd must just be mine then. Absolutely none of my IKV cartos are usable. My attys work fine but the cartos have no air flow. They work fine on a 510-510 adapter that I enlarged.
