With me it would be sheer torture, because I know I couldn't afford any of it... but free samples are always good... LOL!!
I would love to go to the one out in Vegas, but I also suffer from panic/anxiety disorder and don't know if I would survive the trip... View attachment 42269

I think I must have 15-20 of them, I suppose I could just include one with each mod, just for a little extra prize, heh
All of the buccaneer models will have them unless they have LEDs. The LED will occupy the space the kill switch is in so I have to find an alternate switch location for the Buccaneers with LEDs, that's whats holding up the LEDs unless I just make some without kill switchs.
I don't think so, they are much larger and more expensive and the only thing they provide as I see it is a small increase in battery life. Not worth designing a new box to incorporate it yet, that will be down the road a bit.
Not in my opinion, but I have to go with public demand, and the demanding voices are saying I have to install on/off switches and that setting the voltage by taste or using a multimeter is too hard and they have to have built in LEDs. Life would certainly be easier and I could make these much faster and cheaper without the extra work involved.
OMG, let me guess, its a'Mark-8 type-3 polymeric manual battery voltage delivery interrupt disc insertion system'
I would rather tell people to just unscrew the atty a turn or two, sounds easier. If it isn't easy with quick access, then people won't use it, and then why put it in at all imho.

I have toyed with that idea, it would not be that hard and you would then have a little meter that you could use with other mods as well. Pretty little boxes in exotic woods. Maybe I should make a few just to see if people would like them.

Well...I'm back from my "vacation"...
Here are my thoughts on what I've read...
Take them for what their worth....
According to the mod buying guide on ECF...all mods should have an on/off switch
Switching regulators cost more, because they run cooler & increase battery life.
Testing a mod under load requires serious coordination or four hands.
Can't hold the leads and push the button with two hands.
Plastic discs...
Unscrewing the atty on a feeder model can be messy and I'd rather just click the on/off switch.
I'd rather have a meter installed in the box somewhere, than have one separate...
Extra gadgets are yesterday...fully integrated devices are the future.
One more thing: springs are not safety devices.
If a there is a short, the spring may or may not cause the circuit to be interrupted.
A low resistance resettable fuse or a VV circuit with overload protection is a better option.
Are they the same breed as yours? (shar pei??) Wasn't sure, but they are awfully darn cute, aren't they...![]()

AG / BA, shut the h%*# up. J/K my friend and welcome back. I, we missed you.![]()
