Well, now you are supposed to be enjoying a visit with the son this weekend. Take a much deserved break, OK?

Tomorrow fer sure. Had my nose to the grindstone today, want to get some more up and ready so I'm doing a few at a time instead of a whole big batch at once. Working on two Buccaneers and two cutlass's right now but I quit for the night. Kicked back eating popcorn and gonna watch a flick.

Seems like there isn't much worse than to have a new toy and no batts to fire it right up....pure torture.

Tell me about it!!! I had mine sitting on the coffee table where I could admire it, but now it looks like I won't be able to order the batts and charger until after the beginning of next month... so I actually had to put it back in the box because it was a constant reminder... cray-1.gif Living on a fixed income SUCKS!!!

Ahoy, crazy day so far, but I did manage to get a bit of work done. Glue is drying on mods, got a comment box up on website (hope it works right) so if you have a comment about your RSM mod, there is a form at the bottom of the main page to submit it :)

Having to teach myself HTML and webpage design is lost wood working time, but It's gotta be done. One of these days I am going to hire a professional to make me a awesome website, till then I will muddle along best as I can, arrr

Tomorrow, yeah tomorrow I will take a day off ... sure I will ..

P.S., thanks to the guys who helped me test the comment box :)

On my iPad the comment field is mixed in with the mod photos. I commented and submitted, but don't know if it went. It locked up several times. FWIW Capt'

Ohhh Taz, as I was taking pictures of your mod I realized I put the Zebra ends on it instead of the Wenge. When I build these I automatically put them together the way that looks best, and apparently the Zebra wood looked better than the Wenge to me.

I must admit that these might be the prettiest 4 mods that I have done yet. There are imperfections in the wood on your mod, but seeing how its B&W ebony you have to appreciate the worm holes and flaws as other builders will tell you, and cherish the chips, one could hardly afford to do otherwise, lol

This is right before it gets final edging and sanding, after that is a coat of finish then the electronics.

The way the two sides matched up is outstanding, damn it is pretty.
Yo ho !
