Now if this don't get me fitted fer anchor chain, not sure what will ;-).......

Newest batch in the making. Left to right are Cocobolo, Padauk, African Black & White ebony, behind it Mediterranean Olive, Purplehearts, behind them Sycamore, then Asian Marble, Wenge and far right Koa. If you fancy one, best be firing a pm faster than a canon ball to the Cappy. Ebony & Asian Marble are already claimed.

So was it you who looted the marblewood???

Sold it to a shipmate in France who had been asking for one since I first showed off Taz's mod.

Got some more new wood in today, after this next batch of 4 is done I might add even more exotics to the party.

Body wood - Honduras Rosewood, Zebrawood, Chakte Viga, Ziricote, Granadillo and some more variation for end caps as well.

Arrrr, were running with the wind to our back, time to rig full sails!

Avast! Something I ordered a long time ago came in today, actually forgot I had ordered them from Japan. These are the type of inlay one would use on an instrument neck. I'm breaking an oath to never use something store bought on my mod bodies but I've been wanting to do something like this for a while.

Does it look too cheesy? I have several sizes, this is largest, the smallest is about 1/4 this size. To really use it I would have to route a very shallow trough, put the inlay inside it then fill it with a clear varnish or something to seal it in correctly.

Opinions please? yarrrr

Arrr it needs some brass hardware aged in the sun and wood sunk to the bottom of the sea. A chest fitting to hold me treasure. (Looks nice ) I be setting sail for pirates cove (really!) Hollar at ya after the ship comes back to port.

You said it, cheesy. You'll get lots of opinion, no doubt. I don't care for it at all. If your boxes were mass produced off an assembly line, it'd be kind cute branding. Your mods are not that at all IMHO.

Yarrr, I must agree, I was hoping they were higher quality than they turned out to be :p

Do you have a lot of them? I have an idea.

Only a dozen or so, varying sizes.

Btw, all the upcoming VV+LED mods are spoken for, I will throw up a post when I am ready to assign possible buyer names to the next bunch. There will also be some non led VV and 3.7v being completed in the mean time.

Yarrr!

WooooHoooo! Go Cappy, GO!!!!

Ideas to use the premade inlays;
1-a desktop caddy to keep the precious RSM mod(s) from being knocked over, maybe a place for juice bottles too? Could be a prize down the line.
2-offer it as an option intead of wood/recon inlays.
3- should you ever go with the wood meters, it could be good branding.

Tis all I got right now.

OR, sell em on ebay:lol:

It was only 8 bucks I think for a dozen of them, just something I wanted to play with. Maybe if I make more Voltage display meters, but the VV+led seem so popular suddenly, perhaps I won't make anymore without an led. Just have to order more led displays boards.
