Whoa doggy! Spending money is fun :) Now I have enough parts coming in for at least two dozen mods, all I have to do now is build em, yarrr!

For those waiting on the next batch, they're all glued together, now off to a meeting with the belt sander and if that goes well then final sanding and guts, yo ho!

Got my mod today. :) Looks nice but one issue. I though I had battery's but no I have every other battery under the sun LOL.

I did get it cranked up with a set of 18350's for my pipe but do not wont to run it with those I am not sure there ok for stacking.
This is the first time in over a year of vaping I did not have what was needed to run a mod I bought.

I could have sworn I had at least one set.

So I got a few sets ordered from Lighthound so they should be here early next week.

I am bumming :(

But the build it A+ nice work both in side and out. Its a bit wider then I thought it would be but I will have to see how that works out when I get the chance to hold it and use it for a few days. If all works out I will be buying another.

Im guessing you meant 16340s? 18350s are what goes in it. 16340s will work but you have to stretch the spring a little to get them in solid. A spacer works too but spacers and stacking scare me lol.

I do have a set of 18650's but there not good ones there for my pipe ICR 18350's I would rather use the AW IMR's for stacking ( I thought I had at least one set) Like I said I did get it fired up for a bit and it works good but not comfortable with the battery's I have.

Capt' Brian, I received my prizes. Thank you so much, will come in very handy. I will get a good pick of the wood meter up this weekend.

My pleasure. They are cute little buggers, I could probably make more and If I did it efficiently keep the price around 30 bucks. Kinda redundant tho if I start making mostly VV with leds. Never know what the future holds I suppose.

I wanted to pop in and tell you all that I got my mod that I won in the contest yesterday and it is SO nice! This is the first wood mod that I have ever had but it is so nice looking. It is well made. I LOVE the button and it feels great in the hand! Not to mention that it is so cool to have a place to carry a 3ml bottle around inside it! I am waiting for a battery to try it but I am sure that I will LOVE it!
Thank you Capt' Brian

Hey MX. You could use the Tenergy LifepO4's with the "business card tube" and a magnet spacer. Works fine in a pinch. :). Or just whenever. ;)

About to call it quits for the day, here are a couple pics of the current state of the next 3 VV/led mods. Wenge with cocobolo, Spalted Koa with Guyana rosewood and Cocobolo with figured Black walnut. All taken btw.

I saw that I am not an LED fan :) and see one I like

Contoured Mahogany body with semi-rounded edging.
Blood wood end caps with beveled edging. Obsidian recon-stone inlay

I like the shape and an extra would not be a bad thing LOL :)

Or the Purpleheart body I have a Purple Hart Wood mod already and this would go good in the collection. Not sure but one of them is coming home to me tomorrow :)

I will have more VV+led soon if that matters to you?

Oh, aye, that mahogany is a pretty lass, I'm surprised people have passed that one up over others. Maybe its too red? Arr, sometimes when they sit there for a week, I get so tempted to just steal it for myself, but I am going to make myself one real soon and be done with it (for a while).

and yeah, purpleheart all by itself is such an attractive wood, no other like it.
