ive got a bunch of copper tubing for making tilt and shoot bottles and i ment to ask you if you think using copper is a good or bad idea? I got it at a local hobby shop.
I had used copper tubing at first for the entire feed system, the only problem I have with using it is it starts to oxidize/discolor after a time. I could not locate a source of stainless steel tubing that was affordable until recently. Now that I have SS tube I only use that when making feed bottles as that tube is always wet with juice. I also do not use brass/copper for catch cups as if you use the upright fill method juice will fill the cup partially and it will remain wet, not so with the tilt & shoot but you may still get a drop or two that sits in the cup until cleaned.
It may or may not be safe, there are many arguments on both sides, such as without applied heat there is little risk but I just don't like the discoloration it can make in the juice.
My mom had some fun with food coloring once and served us green pancakes, I thought it was fun but my sister refused to eat one. Just sayin ...
p.s., I would suggest that a person clean out any juice feed mod occasionally, especially if it is going to sit for a time without being used.

MadVapes has AW's now ? That would be awesome but I can't find them on the MV site. You have a link Derek ? They are right up the road from me and sooo much faster than Lighthound, SuperT, Overready, Avid etc.
I didn't see any AW's @ madvapes either...but they have protected 18350's of other brands...maybe he was
talking about those...?
Yep, MV has the UF, TF & maybe some BDL's. They do have that 18650 sized 4.8, 5V batt and charger too. Great for any 18650 devices that you would like to vape at a higher voltage other than 6 or 7. Good range for the 1.6 ohm DC cartos.

I picked up my AWs @ RTD vapor simply because they had all 3 sizes I needed in stock. 14500s are rare these days. They have an ECF coupon code and shipping was uber reasonable for the weight. Fast shipping too
Those one cup coffee makers look really sweet but not in the budget. I'm rather fond of my french press and an electric kettle. I was educated on these when over to Germany a few years back. Interesting how paper filters flavor coffee, kinda like carto fiber versus attys. I'm not fond of either taste. Found I don't drink as much too, which is a good thing.
So Cappy, do you have any more production photos to share of the next batch, or is it a wee bit of down time to square away the shop? Me thinks there be some lurkers about

Actually, although I have a few more boxes cut that I could make, I'm going through my wood selection right now, compiling a list of what I have enough of to make at least two or three mods from, both boxes and end cap woods.
I have been thinking that perhaps I will do a larger batch of Buccaneer VV+LED and make them all preorders, or at least as many as I can get ordered before I start production in a few days. Give people a chance to custom order for a change and not just rely on my taste.
Trying to think of the best way to do it, and am kinda leaning towards compiling a list of woods, and making a drop down menu order form on the website, or just stating your preferences here on the thread. First I need to make a list and then post pics of those wood types on the web page so you can see what you are actually going to get. Maybe hold it down to a dozen or so of each type to make it manageable.

Aye, lots of swabbies like to make choices and I think it's a fine plan. Just do yer self a favor and make sure the orderees know that production times can vary and not lock yourself into an exact ship date until complete.That way no one gets their feathers ruffled. Not everyone understands how difficult certain woods can be and that you can even loose the box.

Hmm, not sure if it's worth the hassle Taz, i've sold about every one I've ever built within a few days of completion, so It's not financially important I get preorders, just thought it would be a nice change. Probably not be worth the pressure unless I did an entire batch of preorders, would like to get maybe a dozen of them then I could just do a single large batch and have them done in 10-12 days. I have nothing else on my plate atm and would be an excellent time to test the preorder waters again.

Well, I will shelve the idea for now, I'm ready to rock and roll and build again right now! So I am going to build a batch of high-enders and see how it plays out.
