I posted this in another thread, but I thought I should post it here as well just to warn the new cutlass 5.1 owners for proper use.

"Stupid I just accidentally fired the switch while my RSM was on unregulated mode with freshly charged batteries(8.4v) and killed the atty instantly. Gotta really be careful and concentrate while I change any settings. Learning it in hard way I guess. I took the atty out, switched to unregulated mode to check the off load battery voltage, swapped batteries, and put the atty back on forgetting to flip the switch back to vv mode. Then fireworks~! Good thing I don't vape right away after changing batteries. I could've burned my lips. My transparent drip tip was lit up quite pretty for half a second though."

So... always take the atty out first when flipping the mode switch, and DO NOT forget to flip the switch back on after checking battery~! DO NOT multitask while playing with settings and stay concentrated~!

Arrr, I did that once meself, but I let go of the fire button quick enough that the atty just sizzled like bacon for a split second, heh.

I didn't follow me own advice and remove the atty before playing with the switches/batteries.
