She's mine, and her name will be 'Irene', since she was born during the storm...

Hi all, just a little update. I cut the insides of all the boxes out today and made atty and squonk holes. For the first time I gave them a coat of sealer before assembly to try to prevent warping. Looking good so far! Tomorrow I will start fitting the end caps together with switches and voltage displays and start shaping the boxes (my favorite part).

Still waiting on alot of parts and stuff to arrive, but nothing that will hold up production as of yet. Yo ho!

Ahoy night watch. Giving Ziri a brief rest whilst breaking in a new AMG in it's feed chamber. Seems to speed the process safely. Gave up on the i06. Crazy vapor, ridiculous TH, but I need more flavor. Maybe it's time to revisit the 801 mini to see how it stacks up. The beauty of all this is Ziri has the large catch cup and I can top her with any atty....BLISS.

Looking forward to prenatal porn Cappy. It's so exciting to see them transform from their nickers to full make up....wait, that sounded bad

Good morning all, hope you all have a fine fun filled weekend.

TH Jahar, what an exceptionally fine review you have done, I thank you! With people like you, pchela and AMG doing such quality videos I see no reason to even worry about getting a RSM into the hands of a "Professional" reviewer, someone who will look at it, review it, set it aside and never use it again, not a fate I would wish on one of the RSM ladies, arrr!

You da man!

Any of you all in the path of hurricane Irene? It brushed past us with just a good soaking but it's taking a bead on the upper east coast. Batten down your hatches!

Coastal CT here - they're talking possible 15-16 ft surge tomorrow due to a lunar high tide tom. morning just as Irene is coming ashore (Long Island Sound). I guess the wind pushes the water in more on the sound than it does on the ocean or some such analysis all over the news. It's all Irene all day long....

I feel bad for my Dad. He's got his sailboat up near Norwalk, CT and if we do get a huge surge, it may wash the entire marina away.

I think we'll be okay at home - we've got lots o' sandbags, fresh water, food, junk food, hand powered flashlights, some headlamps and candles :)
