I recieved the RSM Cutlass 5.1 that I won in the contest yesterday and all I can say is "WOW". Cappy, you did an outstanding job!!! This thing is truely a work of art and everything I wanted in a wooden mod. If feels great in the hand and vapes like a champ. Even the extra volt meter is a beautiful work of art. Thanks again for doing the contest Capt. Brain and know that this jewel will be charished.

Ahoy Cappy! How full is the next pre order list? Should we be bumping the info or not?

Nah, but thanks fer the offer. Next batch I will have a couple new wood selections and will need new pictures of everything.

Last batch I matched up the polished aluminum catch cups with the Stainless Steel switches. Any opinions from the new owners?

I was going to match up SS switch with Polished aluminum, Nickel plated switch with Chrome and of course Black/Black combo. Of course you can request any match you want.

I have that selection and I think it looks great, they match well and feel sturdy. The button feels great to push :). For me the shinier chrome would be too cold on my warm wood mod and black felt too dark. If they made something with a gold coloring I'd be all over that

What?! I've been using non matching hardware all this time?! :p

I never would have known they were different.

Man - I sooo wanna be one of the lucky people next time who get to pick their woods and everything. So fun and such a cool prize at the end!

If Cappy hadn't said anything I would not have noticed either.

Lol, well I thought the polished aluminum matched the polished stainless steel better than the chrome did so I went with it. Not a huge difference ofc, but its a softer shiny than the chrome, like the SS. All a matter of choice, you all choose what you want :)

Vapage just came up with new version of these atties and they're available for purchase at Vapage.com. These are much improved versions addressing all the issues of the previous batch. But yeah, the old ones(that are on sale for $5 at COV) were really hit or miss. I ordered 6 of them and one of them was DOA and next one died after 6 hours. I'm on the third one currently and this one is performing like a brand new atty even after 3.5 weeks of use so far. It even looks brand new as I can still see every coil wraped on the wick without any gunk what so ever. It also takes some time to break in fully and the performance gets better after a day or so.

These hybrids atties are real juice hogs and need to be primed with alot more than 5 drops. Since these have anti-flood slots in the bottom just feed it until you see some liquid starting to leak out of the slots, then give a few minutes to soak in before vaping.
Also for your under performing atties, contact COV and they'll send you replacements without having you sending them back to them. They're fully aware of the issues with this old batch. I bought mine at Vapage and I contacted Brian the owner about my two defect atties, and he sent me FOUR atties as replacements.

Here's a good thread for discussion on this atty. You can also see the pictures of the improved version here:

Arrr, is everyone out playing? Am I the only idiot sitting inside at a workbench?

Good thing I don't play WOW anymore or I would only make one mod a week...

 once my husband and I start playing WOW, NOTHING gets done. On a different note, we started vaping about a month or so ago and my husband has been talking about getting a wood box mod. How would I order one and what type of payment do you take?
