ahoy all, things are going a bit slower than i anticipated as usual. I had a report of a loose end cap from a previous batch and i can only attribute it to rushing the setting of glue. I usually wait 3 hours in clamps before i work on them but i am now waiting 6 hours which is the outside of the recommended wait time. Just one more thing to slow me down, but all the ladies are in wood clamps and will be until around 11:30 tonight so i'm doing other things.

I have a couple more desk caddies to make, one for a wench and two for octagon style edges then i will have them all made for this batch.

Well, they are still rough, I need to put edges, either round or octagon on them, then bring them to the belt sander and sand all the sides flush with the end caps. After than I put a bevel in the end caps, give them their first coat of sealer then I can start assembling the rest of the guts. Looks like they may be ready to ship by ..hmm...Thursday? Friday? could be!

Yarr, I would need to get the pics posted by Wed if I wanted to start invoicing that same night, but I still have quite a bit of work to do yet so I will have a better idea of when in the next couple days but I would like to get them shipped by the weekend so I could take a breather and maybe a day off!
