Would a display window in the side be good? I would like to not do anymore the old way. If you look at your RSM and the bottom end cap you can see that the whole affair is hollowed out with all the components mounted inside and then glued together. Very time consuming and virtually unrepairable without just cutting off the old bottom and mounting a new one.

A bad thing about them, is if in the future I have to repair one that way out of warranty I cannot charge what it will actually cost me in time and labor for it is my doing that it is so hard to repair. I can't charge someone a hundred bucks due to my lack of foresight so I will have to make those repairs at a loss.

I would rather be smart and look to the future even if it is somewhat less appealing to some :(

I think any way u choose to do it cappy it will top any mod on the market right now.

I totally understand that, Cappy. I think a side window would make a great substitute. If I can see it, I'm happy. And seeing it from the side would be even more convenient.

How's The Red Lady doing? :D

The finish should be dry enough to ship her back to you tomorrow. I explained to here that you are sorry and that accidents happen and that you really do love her and want her back, so I think everything will be ok now..

Side is all good I just like to see it while vaping..I know you have heard this before..but I'm in aw of your work.
I thank you so much..I'm going Cutlass as I love the convenience of BF..

Thanks ST, appreciate the kind words. Altho I do use a tank while working, my favorite is still BF with a Titan atty even tho those atties have a crappy life span, awesome taste. One thing tho is I find I have totally switched to upright filling on my BF mods to keep the atties more wet than you can manage with tilt & shoot without dripping juice on the carpet, heh.

Thank you so much for that! And here I thought we were going to have to start going to couples' counseling. :)

Said it before and I'll say it again. You're the best, Captain! She'll make a lovely welcome home gift when I get back from my trip next week. And I'll have a mini jug of Copper Creek Black Raspberry to bestow upon her.

You know, I'm really not sure if I do, I'll check tomorrow as I'm crashed out in bed with my laptop as usual this time of night.

There is actually another problem I've created for myself. Now not only do buyers have to choose main body wood and top and bottom end cap wood, but they can also pick a different wood for the left side access panel if they want. Either match the body wood, end cap wood or something completely different. On top of that, inlays and custom engraving ... good grief... I better think of some ingenious way to make it possible to order via the website or I will be spending my whole days handling PM's, arrrr

Honestly, I'd rather have my display hidden than on the side. I love the clean lines of the bare wood. I think that's why I don't really want any engraving on the side either. But that's just me. :)

I see no reason why I couldn't make a display window in the access panel optional, just a matter of not putting in the hole and then you could just lift the cover to adjust the voltage. You need to open it up to get the mini screwdriver anyway :)

Only the Push button and atty would be visible then.

You know now that Cappy is changing the Cutlass read out..
Batch 7 was the last of the bottom readouts..kinda unique..RSM

True that, but externally (except for the now blank bottom) the Cutlass should look identical to the way it is now although I no longer will have to 'double up' the end cap wood.

Rodger dodger. I won my third bid on E-Pay for various end cap/panel wood and am hunting for more main body wood as well. I'm shopping and stocking up during this down time. Come to think of it I better hurry up as I was 'supposed' to start on the new batch next week.
