Wow, I'm not even touching my RSM until this blows over. She'll sit high on a shelf where no harm can come to her and where I can admire her.

I am normally the leader of the why by something you aren't going to use squad but your Cutlass is one pretty lass so I can't say blame you.

Well I hate to do it but I have to report another casulty. Someone dropped my mom's RSM at work today. Popped the bottom cap off and left a little ding in it but it is till working.

Cappy I am sure it has been posted here but to save a little time is Gorilla Glue (wood kind) ok or would you recommend another type of wood glue to glue the bottom back on. Thanks

Gorilla wood glue is fine, put plenty in the gap between the body and end cap then clamp it if you can but put the back lid on a little ways so it does not dry crooked making it impossible to get the back lid back on. Also make sure that the back lid is not in contact with any glue or you might inadvertently glue the whole thing into one piece.

If you quickly wipe off any excess glue from the outside with a wet paper towel it should not mar the finish more. Extra glue inside is actually good as a filet of it will make the whole thing stronger. Face the fire button down and excess glue would pool forward and not towards the door.

You probably know most of all this but better safe than sorry.

Ay carumba! A third Cutlass down! :-( They do say bad luck comes in threes so perhaps we can all relax a little?

Having said that, I've just bought a small padded camera bag off eBay to keep mine in whilst I'm out and about. She's too gorgeous to keep cooped up indoors, but I'm still worried about her getting damaged.

Awww... She's all bandaged up with rubber bands!

I have wood clamps but they are in storage so these did the trick. I also used the oddest thing to keep the door open. I was casting about trying to think of what to use to hold the door open and someone handed me 2 unused ciggarette butts.

Well.... since SD busted hers up a few weeks back and then fried the wiring last week, I think we can forget about the rule of three. :(

Boy this really has me bummed out from all the casualties! Take a look at Scottyvest.com. They have a wide selection of clothing with LOTS of pockets!!! I bought my wife a nice, warm winter coat last year that has 36 pockets - carries everything and even has a pocket designed specially for an iPad. They even sell boxers, which I own, that have a pocket to carry a smartphone and would probably fit a RSM. Check 'um out and maybe we can end the travesty of casualties!

Don't just take our word for it. Watch this video by Vapor S. Thompson ...

Disclaimer: He does do his review using eGos and another mod but I know that RSMs would fit.

Well this week just keeps getting worse. First I find out my dad only has 6 months. Then I drop Irene. Now my freekin Provari quit working. I'm going into a cave to hide out for the remainder of the week.

:-x:yawn::danger::yawn::danger::yawn::danger::yawn::-x

Well, my Dad passed away not long ago, and I have to *FIX* all these accidents, so remember, it always could be worse :D
