Afternoon shipmates! How is everyone? Churros -- did you snag a Lava the other night?
Hope everyone had a good weekend. Thankfully it is a short work week. Sat I I got to have the water pump and radiator replaced on my truck. I spent today making this for my PV's. It's made out of red oak. Of course Irene still has her's but this will keep all my backups from falling over.

Nice work Airborn. What happened to the door on your Reo?
I can't wait until Cappy puts his caddies back up.
Hey SummerDawn, I was not able to get my hands on a Lava Tank Friday night. I thought I was fast enough becuase my PM time was 10:01pm, but I guess that's not fast enough because Jon wrote me back and said that everything was gone! I will try again at the next sale in a couple of weeks - Dec. 2nd - and that would be cool because that is my birthday! I was trying for Antique silver pawn, bronze and violet ming, or Blooming Lilac ming. At first I didn't know that you had to specify between ming or pawn if both are available. Is that what you usually do? I don't have a preference, I just want a tank, but when I asked, I was told to specify.

Arrrr, I did not get as far as I had hoped today but I will let you take a sneak peak at the final layout for the Mark-7 Destroyer.
The parts that are in it are just ones I use for test fitting everything. So far it looks good and I believe I have solved all but one part of the process. The box in the picture has not been edged round so still has a square look.
The final size of the destroyer looks like it shall be 2" x 1" and 4.75" tall, very comfortable in the hand.
I made it tall enough to inset much of the tank and it should be very difficult now to damage or break off a tank unless you wreck the hole box. As you can see I could lower the tank another inch but then the fire switch would be in the middle of the box.
There is a 1 1/2" tank in there for the picture.

This is the Mark-8 Sabre, 6ml feeder using 16340 batts with safety switch and voltage display. I must admit that holding the thin models at 2" x 1" is a more comfortable feel than the 2.6" cutlass. Last thing I need to do now is figure out the wiring and as long as I get that hammered out these are also ready for production.
