I just realized that there is only going to be one panel made out of the scales I bought, the rest of the body is made out of a solid piece of wood. That's a shame, there is a lot of nice wood there that will probably go to waste. :(

me too. I was thinking two panels as well.

One knife blank would go to making end caps, I need two caps of 2" x 1" after sanding, the other a door panel which needs to be 1.5" wide and the length of the mod, so both of them do get used up during construction.

Hey guys - where do you get the nice 510 extenders/adapters? I had one that Airborn very kindly gave me so I could use tanks and now it's gone. :( I had it set aside and I can only guess that either the cat or one of the birds found it and took off with it. Can't find it anywhere and all I can find online are the ugly black ones with brass ends.

If you want good shorties, head over to empire mods and tell Keith I send you!

Well, I think your best bet would just be to pack her up and I shall bring her aboard and set things right :)

arrr... thanks so much captain.
I just came back from home depot with Lepage Super Glue, and I'll give it a shot since it's such a minor repair.
I'm usually pretty good at this sort of thing that requires sensitive hands, so hopefully it'll turn out well.
