Arrr, better late than never, here are the Mark-7 & 8 mods from this batch. I just finished with them on the belt sander. Tomorrow I will drill atty holes, regulator adjustment holes and then give them all a final hand sanding.

As you can see I went with much more traditional wood colors this batch with just some flair on some of the end caps, no purples, yellows or oranges :D

I love the first two Dreads.. hmm

Arrrrrgg, break time....hands are shot. Been hand sanding the mods for hours and just started in on the gabon ebony dreads, man that stuff is hard as rock. Five more to go.

I gave them all a much softer octagon edging this time, not quite round but very soft edges, I just have to be careful not to make the wood too thin on the edges. I am also bumping up the sanding another half notch in quality and spending more time on them, should be an awesome batch I hope.

New router is enroute along with some new router bits, should be back in business within a few days. Fortunately I'm at a point in production where I don't really need it. I did have one fatality with a door last night, the belt sander grabbed the door off a granadillo mod and ate it, so that mod will have to catch up with the batch later :D

arrr

Wow, finally finished sanding, inspecting and giving them their first coat of sealer. Now I let them sit in a box till tomorrow and give them a second coat while I goof off for a bit, arrrr!

One of them is Gabon ebony and curly tiger maple which is pretty white, but no, not ivory so yours is still unique :D
