Just got my clone reload from 3F this morning and got around to cleaning/building/vaping.
Vape is flavorful and warm with a 3mm ID dual 26 SS plain round coil at 450F. Better than the Engine dual coil IMO.
Things to note:
-The barrel/chimney "looks" dirty, but after a couple of washes and scrub with isoproypl alcohol plus a couple more rinses... looks just as dirty as before. I'm guessing it is just poor quality stainless or bad polishing.
- Do not tighten your leads all the way if you are using regular round wire (26 gauge in my case), it will cut the wire. Just tighten it until it is snug, insert your coil rod and give it a gentle tug, if it doesn't pop out, you're good. I had to make new coils because I always like to tighten them... or over tighten them.
-When wicking, make sure the wicks touch the bottom of the juice channel. I originally had mine just half way in the juice channel or half exposed in the juice "window" and within a few minutes it leaked everywhere. I re wicked it now with the wicks touching the bottom of the channel and fully covering the "window" and no leaks so far.
-Watch out for the top cap when you open to fill or disassemble to clean. The machine is really sharp. When vaping, keep note so you don't cut or scratch your lips.
Only used it for an hour, but so far it has been a pretty good vape.
