wow, this thread is fun. I just received some pluid from another member here on ecf a few days ago and now am on a quest to find a clone like all of you. I have done some diy but nothing to this extent.

I am of indian decent and one of the after dinner mouth fresheners we use are fennel seeds. The pluid tastes to me a quite like that with an after taste of fruit punch. I am wondering since anise and fennel resemble in flavor, has anyone tried fruit punch flavor to their mix.

I think this would be the closest thing we could come to making a perfect clone. I will be ordering all this soon and testing this out. I will let you guys know the results.-

Fennel seed- 25 grams
Lemon Balm- 6 grams
Anise seed- 25 grams
Star anise- 8 grams
Coriander- 3.5 grams crushed
Hyssop- 9 grams
Angelica root- 4 grams
Calamus root- 1.5 grams
Mint- 6 grams
lemon balm- 8 grams
Licorice root- 2 grams
Lemon peel- 2 grams

Step 1- Mix the ingredients together
Step 2- Add enough PG to thoroughly coat the mixture
Step 3- Let sit for 1 week
Step 4- Press out the PG
Step 5- Strain the PG extract with a coarse filter, such as a pasta cup strainer
Step 6- Strain with a fine filter several times.(coffee filter)
Step 7-Repeat steps 2-6 and combine the filtered extractions
Step 8- Mix and vape

What do ya think murdock? Am I getting close yet? :D ;)

Considering I have said may times, " it's not licorice, it's anise". No

I've decided that anything murdock says(about the recipe) is a lie. I mean, what kind of juice maker would give hints to his recipe? You guys really think he would help us? Hell no! Lol
If I were him I would lie my ... off. haha

Besides that, the licorice root in the recipe is a lot less than the anise, so no doubt the anise will be the flavor that shines through. ;)

Btw, I'm not trying to crack pluid, per se. I'm just trying to make a good absinthe/citrus juice. :)

Makes sense. Either way... I'm only trying to make what works for me anyway. Eventually I would like to try the real thing one day but until then... I have to be my own little chemist.

If you can handle 9mg nic, I could send you a small bottle to try. You really have to try it yourself, no description really does it justice.

That actually would be really nice. My dad and grandma use nicotine so they could try it too. Would you like something for it? I have a ton of flavorings.

All I can say the very least Pluid inspired me to make my own version of a anise based flavor. Is it Pluid like? Other than the Anise not at all. Everything else is taken to a completely different level. I think if it wasn't for Pluid ( which I only got 3 ml from a friend ) I prob wouldn't of tried a Anise style flavor ever. Im happy with my creations and care less if I get a exact clone of Pluid. If anything it helped me create a wicked ADV for myself.\

P.S. - I don't hate SpongeBob I LOATHE spongebob lol.

From an earlier post:

Absinthe w/s (TFA) 10%
Lemon-Lime (TFA) 5%
Orange Cream (TFA) 5%
Smooth (TFA) 2%

Ok, made this up last week and waited patiently for this weekend to drip some and it's definitely interesting, liking it as far, if memory serves this is a ringer for Good n' Plenty, interested to see what another week will do. I have no way of knowing yet what Pluid tastes like and will hopefully not hesitate and get a bottle next time it becomes available. Thanks this thread is awesome :)
