Nice!!! Im getting excited to try the vv grand as well. Got my extra batts for it today and it should arrive to my unit with my workweek.
Today was "no mail friday" , but i convinced the squadron mail guy to check for me. Low and behold he had my gold pc grand. I love it. Maybe ill get mini 2.1 fever in the future
What colors vv / grand did you get? Or is it a secret to be unveiled upon its arrival
the VV is black wrinkle w/ metallic blue on the door, and the new grand is white w/ black wrinkle door

This beauty came in yesterday from a dear friend. Fell in love with the coppervein with brass RM2 idea and took it to the next level when the button was replaced by going with brass accented mini woodvil button on it. Stunning IMO! Thank you dear Feisty and Modmaster!
Defiantly want to get a woodvil. My vv doing great so far hopefully soon I can get a grand when funds permit. Love this damn thing.
Also a better drip tip. Like the look of metal but the. I start tasting metal or its all in my head. Just haven't found the perfect one yet.

A lot of tips aren't cleaned after made. I hit every new tip i get with an alcohol bath then run a q-tip or paper towel through it to be sure there is no remaining drill oul, shavings, etc.
That is all sorts of sexy right there. Brilliant idea with the button. I might have to shamelessly steal that idea from you very soon.

I used to open my beer bottles with my bic. Today I packed a couple of beer for the pool and when I pulled it out I realized I had no bic to open it. Used my grand and popped it off like a champagne cork in one try. It scratched the bottom of the door just below the right bottom of the squonk hole but I'm good. Im good. First scratch is the worst. The beer is cold and spectacular. to think I was gonna bring my woody with me. I would be thirsty right now.

That was a twist off cap? I love the ones that twist. Grabbed one that wasn't once and about cut my hand trying to turn it!
I don't alway drink but when I do, I prefer beer without a twist off top.
