Has anyone here ever made their own drip tips? I have several older deer antlers that I think might make interesting drip tips. I'm just wondering what I would need to do to them to protect them and make them durable. I suppose the larger question is whether I can fashion one without grievous bodily injury resulting?

I don't have a lathe...yet. I really need to convince the Evil One that she needs one for her woodworking.

my ex's name is Evelyn. in all the documents i submitted during the divorce, i wrote EvilOne. my attorney was not amused.

i also discovered certain judges have a spectacularly lacking sense of humor...

My cousin makes knife handles for custom knives out of antlers. He also does pool cues with antler inlays. I'll be seeing him this weekend I'll ask if he has any ideas on how best to try it. It would be unique and pretty cool.

Cool, that would be great. I'm curious whether or not I would need to varnish/protect the inside of them.
