stopped at the local sign shop and picked up some scraps to play with, I like it, carved real neat with a razortwo different looks for my grand

oh! I love those. so you got scraps and made new doors or covered doors?
I may strip it and re-paint. I have a feeling I was holding the cap too close when spraying.
I sanded, cleaned, sprayed and baked in a warm oven for an hour.

Now that is tighter than a bulls azz.
Ordered a tumbled door for my wrinkle black grand, started polishing it tonight...much easier than I thought. This is 1 round of mothers aluminum mag polish, no sanding etc.

It looks pretty nice even without the sanding. I'd be tempted to leave it like that for a bit.
