Updated family photo. Rob sent back my 650 woody which I've nicknamed "grandpa" and wow I'm so very happy with the quality of work. I was missing an oring for the rm2 but who's kidding who. I must have 700 orings of all sizes.
Clean.

Another on the way so this family photo is going to need to be updated in a few.

It couldn't be the same button as these buttons are wired and could not be used on a mechanical woodvil.

That's not a Reo, I'm not sure of the button placement on the mechanical Woodvil Rob is designing but it would be a physical contact button instead of an electrical switch like the one referenced.

If it had a switch like a grand and one wire to ground that wouldn't be a mechanical by some definitions To me that would be a mechanical. Never liked that definition of having no wires. I would rather have regulated and non-regulated as the two categories of mods. I think if its a wood it has to have something to ground it whether its a wire or a rod or a strap.

Agreed, I think the distinction should be electrical switch or mechanical, whether the current is carried by wire or a strap of metal makes no difference other than semantics. Of course this assumes the wire is of a large enough gauge to carry the current without a big voltage drop.
