Rustled up another Silver Wilding for a bath (there are more). (My house is filled with wildlings.) (They don't realize momma knows all the hiding places.) Far right Mini 2.0.

All but VVG are from before Robert started doing the rounded edges on all. Good example of the newer rounded edges compared to "squared" edges.

Ratman, I don't think my Redwood Burl woodvil is in your count. I did a special request for it. Also my vv grand tumbled clearcoat was done via a special request also.

Well it looks like it doesn't really matter now. Rob done kicked us to the curb. We are not his one and only :( So my count was waaaaay off lol. Oh well it was very enjoyable looking back at the build pictures.

I have built well over 1000 wood mods probably closer to 1500 .
Ecf folk are only a portion of my customers . I wish I would have kept better records . I wish I had a 1000 wood mods all built sitting on a shelf

I should have a recall so we can get a exact count for the ocd folk

Whats really scary boss is a 1000 wood REOs on the shelf is probably not enough.

Wow! I feel sooooooooooo lucky to have 1 of only 114 mini woodvils! Thank you Jan !!!! :)
So, if any of you 234 Woodvil 18490 owners have a spare Cocobolo collecting dust I will gladly adopt!!

Great job ya'll!!!! My largest numbers of any Woodvils are the Mini. Seeing how few were made I feel really fortunate to have them (and rightly so the other versions.) I LOVE THEM ALL DEARLY. And RatRob.... I'm thrilled you got your Cocobolo just because and it was going to be hard to let go of one of the Padauk Woodvils if you had taken me up on offer. (Although I would have done so for you.)

Thanks! I traded a pretty little bloodwood/birdseye maple woodvil 18490 for a cocobolo 18490 with my friend lalasalama8 from NC and stumbled into a VV Woodvil cocobolo all within 48 hour span. I am gonna be in cocobolo heaven. I fear it will trigger an obsession though, trying to track down and get an 18650 Woodvil and a 14500 mini woodvil both in cocobolo to complete the collection of all 4.

Oh who am I kidding. They are not even here yet and I am watching for either one of them.

Congrats. With your great Karma they will probably find their way to you eventually. Just keep putting the word out especially to REOnauts. Does anyone have an estimate of how many Cocobolo Woodvils Robert made in all versions?

Still haven't heard from Jack. I sent him an email a little bit ago. If anyone can remember the name of his dance club one of us could maybe give them a call. The owner is a friend of his.

Hugs, Alice

I know what you mean about the set ..... I have 3 out of 4 in cocobolo but the kicker is I had the 14500 version at one time as well ..... Kicking myself now for letting that one go. Even though i never use 14500 it would be great to have that one to complete the 4-sum ......

Congrats on finding 2 though.

Dayum! With everyone here looking for Cocobolo Woodvils i'm getting the feeling that I have a better chance of seeing GOD than getting my hands on any size Cocobolo! Not many people like Jan ( that let me adopt one her lil' beauties)!
Enjoy your new proud 7 joy! :toast:

Soooooooooooooo...................... Do any of these guys look familiar to anyone(s)?
Ebonys; 18490, Mini, 18490
Brass and Chrome RM2s. The catchcups are patina-ed, as I like them. I did take a little patina off to get closer to the new brass RM2s that will darken and patina a bit over time. (Bright light makes Chrome darker and Brass lighter than in real "normal" lighting.) Ebony/Quilted Maple 1.3 1.13 ohm and hitting like a freight train but not dimishing sweet, strong Butterscotch too much. 5 wraps, 30ga Kanthal, 2mm doubled silica @ 3.7 volt.

BTW.... afraid to put them on railings for fear of wind blowing them into jungle way down there where my friendly Copperheads roam. Didn't want to have to put on snake gear.
