I have taken a few minutes to break from the drudgery. Here's some pic of the two new Woodvils. I just took them out of the bag with Zeo rocks and I think I can load one tonight without much of tung fume issue.

The last two pics are my favorite as they were at an angle ("all about angles". rhaps ;-), so the 801 closest to camera looks larger. The sun was really bright, late afternoon, and it was 86 F outside. I still had my sub 40 clothes on as I've been ailing in the recliner for a week. The first pics were taken later in afternoon. I couldn't take any pics earlier, outside, because the wind was too strong. Today was still so I didn't have to worry so much about them blowing off the railing.

So here they are. If I've said it once, I've said it at least ten times..... This old oak collector has never seen any oak that looks like this. Pictures don't do them justice by any means.
The Wenge is not too red or orange. It will go with any wood !!!!!!!!!!!

In all pictures 510 native connection is on left and 801 native connection is on right.

Debb and Mvgratz. I take no credit for the "beauty". I don't know if anyone could take a bad picture of these guys. I just set my camera on "auto", portrait, and shoot away. Do a little fixing in Picassa for shadows, and color temp, and crouping, of course.

But no Photoshopping or anything sophisticated.

They are truly beautiful. I'm vaping a Grand at 6v and 7.2v using a 4.5 510 atty right now. I had the HV attys and batts. Increased TH but you really have to squeeze the bottle and hold it to feed the high resistance attty. I'm only doing it because I have the batteries and attys. Otherwise I wouldn't bothered.

OK the Reo Mini I traded for came today. Very solid piece of vaping equipment! What I was looking for as far as sturdy. I'm afraid to carry my wood mods for fear of dropping them as I'm a bit of a klutz! The one thing I found was that it was a bit weak on the draw compared to what I'm used to, BUT I am also using used Trustfire batts that came with the unit and after talking to a few Mini owners, it looks like that may be the cause for the weaker hit. AW IMR's already ordered to cure that problem.

Giving it a solid trial run tonight and it seems to be getting better with each squonk! Man it doesn't take much to get the carto juiced up so working on getting that right amount, but no leaks so doing ok.

I believe with the right batts, this will be just what I was looking for. Thanks Rob!

Good batteries and good atties (or cartos in your case) make all the difference in the world. Keep in mind too that these are different somehow than other pv's so you might find you like a different resistance in your cartos. Lovely mod, Brutus! :)
