More storms to come this weekend.
Dang sweetie. Glad you were safe and that didn't land on your house!

morning everyone, well no almost fires today, but I have to go into town. I dread that trip as will be at least 5 hours because of the busses, 7 hours if I miss one.
oh yuck, sure wish someone could drive you. I've dealt with some pretty lousy bus services, but none that take that long just to go to town and back. Unless you're spending a few hours in town.

I don't have a tree that big in my yard. If it fell to the right it would have still missed my house, and cars. But it would have kept me in for a long time!

Thank you for caring Debb!

Where I live there is only 6 busses a day that come in and out, by the time I get to town I have 30 minutes til the next bus and then 3.5 hours til the next one after that, 30 minutes is never enough time to do anything, and with the timing of my dr's appointment today I might miss the one that is 3.5 hours and if I do I have another 2 hour wait on top of that, and that isn't even including the time in and out.

That video was too cute. My puppy wants to make friends with the cats here in the house. One cat is fairly accepting, but only if the dog is acting calm. The other cat is not accepting at all. All 3 want to lay at my feet at times. (especially at the computer) I wear shorts in the summer. That situation is dangerous for ME. I try to move a cat or two, but they keep coming back to me. The dog wants to be petted. If she accidentally steps on a kitty, it is game over. I don't know if my puppy has been swatted good enough by the cats yet, to know those claws are razor sharp. I want her to respect the claws, but not get hurt too badly. The puppy can move fast, but the cats are FASTER.

What's up reonauts!! It's been busy, busy, busy around here. My house is almost ready to go on the market. All I have is a little touch up paint and a few minor repairs to finish up and we should be ready to list it next week as early as Wednesday. I had to take a short trip this weekend and I'm away from Georgia at the moment. SpaceX hooked me up, I've been in contact with them several times and they wanted me to go thru an on-site interview so I'm here and just ran the gauntlet. I flew into Austin yesterday afternoon, picked up my rental and drove up and checked into the hotel, all paid for by SpaceX. I sat thru two separate interviews this morning and met a bunch of people. I felt great, the interviews went great, got an exclusive on site tour of the facilities and got some free swag too, couple of t-shirts for me and my family, stickers for my son, and a grab bag of goodies. Anyway, I really felt at home while visiting and "running the gauntlet", everyone's so down to earth and they all share a vision of becoming something great, they really stand behind the company and morale was extremely high. They genuinely care about each other and it was a really amazing and good experience. My buddy that works in the company, I met up with last night and he's fully confident that I'll get the job. At this point, I'll either have one or two more phone interviews next week or they've come to a decision and I'll find out if I got the job hopefully as early as next week. I'm about to venture out into the local area and get some listings for homes so we can see what's available. I'll fly out of here tomorrow morning, and be back by early afternoon. Man, I'm just so happy right now, I really feel like I've already got this. I can't wait to talk to them next to see what my next steps are. Anyway, I thought I'd pop in say hi and clue you all in on what's been happening. Take care ya'll, take it easy.

Good grief...I got a headache and wore out so much i had to take a nap just reading all that!!

Are Golden State warriors & LA Lakers in the same state ?
Feel like I have heard of the LA Lakers thousands of times but can't recall hearing much if anything about Golden state warriors until this year.

Again, not a round ball fan, but if I remember correctly - Los Angeles has the Lakers and the Clippers, and the Warriors are in the San Francisco Bay area. I think...

Hope this works out great for ya.

I'm home, thankfully I didn't miss the one bus, over all a pretty decent day
