Yep but all I was interested in was the tank. I don't care for that particular battery. They have real good prices on the Ego Twist though. 19.00 for 650 and 22.00 for 1000.

Like your display of some of your toys with your Apollo tank, looks nice. :) Couple of questions for you Tex? What is the shipping from Vapors Choice?

I have an Ovale v8 and the fire button is a real test, have to press it uncomfortable hard to get it to stay on and I wondering if yours has a smooth tactile action similar to your other APV?

Errol, shipping to Tx was 3.03 when I ordered one excalibur last week from vc.

Mello, I haven't gotten mine yet, but Robbie said that after he did his video saying it didn't matter, that he had some leaking and found out it did matter, but I don't know yet how you can tell, or which end is up.

K... few things... REALLY screwed up yesterday and figured I'd change the juice... went to take off the bottom, thinking I could then just syringe out the juice... DON'T anyone else try that! rofl Taking off the bottom must have broken some sort of a vacuum seal and the juice all poured out the driptip end and into my lap. ;) SOOO not fun. On the plus side, all the juice is out now, and can try again with another set of innards and some thinner juice. And of course, that doesn't happen when you take off the top cap, so that's clearly the only way to get juice out, aside from vaping it.

Second... someone mentioned a quality atty. I'm NOT an atty girl, just cause they drive me bonkers with the inconsistency. But someone recently suggested the Cisco 306 atty from Avid Vaper : Personal Vaporizers and Accessories. Deal.. 2 attys in your choice of resistance, and decent 306 drip tip, for $20. AWESOME inexpensive attys! They're 306 ie: exposed bridge attys, so I de-meshed the bridge (left bridge on and wicking material in, just pulled off the mesh itself) and its working BEAUTIFULLY. So if you're looking for a high end rebuildable, there's amazing ones out there. But if you're just looking for a great dripping atty, cheap, highly recommend the cisco 306. Heard amazing things about the 357 by Cisco also, but those are a little more of a learning curve just cause you have to vape them in short hard pulls.

Errol, most recent order of Vapors-choice was $3.55 shipping via 1st class. I didn't just get the Excalibur tank and innards, though. Also got 2 10ml bottles of juice, and 1 30ml. BTW, VC 'Peanut Butter Banana' is OUTSTANDING. Don't get a lot of peanut butter, but the combination tastes exactly like banana bread. I've tried maybe 8 different banana vapes, and this blows them all out of the water. And $10/oz juices, too. Also love the Fr Vanilla Keoke Coffee. Not quite as good as TVR's, but very very close, and of course, $10/oz is killer.

BTW, I've heard from a good 10-12 people now that the Apollo/Excalibur tank has better flavor than the Nova, so guessing that's a safe bet. Not sure which variation on the nova those people are vaping, but assuming its a range. And I was getting good flavor off my E2 even with liquid not wicking properly (again, tried with thick 100% VG), so guessing you guys worried will like it better than the nova, flavorwise.

And has anyone tried 'cleaning' a set of innards to reuse with a different juice? Any suggestions for cleaning? Thanx!

the tank itself looks identical on both ends. my guess is that i can screw it unto the base either way.

ps. all of a sudden the vapor production almost stopped so i poured out the liquid and cleaned the tank. havent refilled it yet. it also collected a fair amount of liquid in the cup in a short amount of time.

sure vaped nice the first hour tho.

My switch seemed to work very good and I didn't have to push it hard to stay on. Sounds like you might have a problem. Mine had to be sent back because the electronics started messing up.

I think the shipping for two tanks was 2 or 3.00 from Vapors choice.

I've been having some gurgling issues on my last couple of tanks. It seems these have to be vaped perpindicular or juice gets into the top. It is easy to sop out with a tissue though but is still annoying. I ordered a couple of the knuckle driptips to use with them.

I've found that laying it down between vapes will keep the wicks wet when it gets low.

Oh yeah, that knuckle tip is a killer idea with those! Saw it on Lord Davon's review. Been meaning to snaggle one anyways. I think they're cheap at discountvapers or at hoosierecig.

So anyone who's cleaned one of these wanna share? I meant to catch Lord Davon's live broadcast on the rebuilding of an E2, but I screwed up the time difference and missed it. Sigh. Noone happened to save that in any way, didja?

As to the draw, I've been vaping it mostly on my stainless lavatube/vtube, and that has an airy draw to begin with. Its just perfect drawwise on that, so I'd assume that it would be a good draw, maybe slightly toward the airy spectrum, on a pv with a medium draw. Sorry can't give more specifics... haven't really tried it on any other device.

They are very simple to clean. Just unscrew the top and bottom and unscrew the atty post and rinse it all with hot water pull off the silicon cap and dry burn if you choose to. :)

Ooh, those colored blasters are rather fun! Not sure if they're $7 extra worth of fun for me, or not, but they sure look cool. ;) Too bad they don't make them with a chrome 'cup' or solid metal design, or that would look fantastic.

So that's all there is to it? Just rinse the wicks with water? I figured there would be something more to cleaning the wicks. K... I'll give that a whirl and see if I can get one of my vg juices thin enough to work and wick properly. ;)

Oh, rock ON yourefired! That's a killer deal on the colored knuckletips. ;) Thanks!

I ordered an 1100mah Super Excalibur kit from Vapors Choice for $39 plus $3 shipping. Not bad!

Looks like they just went out of stock on the 1100 but the 900mahs are still available for $36 plus shipping: Ego 510 900Mah Super Excalibur Kit [Super exc 900 kit] - $36.00 : Vapors Choice, Ecigarettes & Parts

He has some good prices.

GotVapes is going to have them this week on their Alpha program, where they sell them a little above cost to test them for them. They are going to have the Ovale V8 too, they call it the Gripper 2. You have to be approved into their program but I think they let most everyone in at least right now. I'm not sure what the requirements are but you can get stuff cheap.

Awesome, they're going to have the black E2 tank and battery. I saw the black one somewhere like Alibaba, but you had to buy at least ten or something.

Thanks for that link, Txtumbleweed. I'm going to see about signing up for their Alpha Program. I've heard (read) good things about it.

Have put in for a replacement and they've sent me a prepaid shipping label so one can't fault them for service.

I had an invitation to the beta test group but assumed they would be charging shipping so that pretty much blew that idea out of the water. No bargain being a beta tester if the bargain price plus shipping is near or equal to the retail price.
